Will they make him the favorite or give longer odds?Anyway,this race would be worth watching and enjoying.

in the morning i was all set to play germanicus....a big bet
then i read some views of people i always follow ...dharmeshsir BKD sir and R
then i read this post of GG.. AND mm
then i thought germanicus has just reached hyderabad on friday and on monday he is running a big race...and its 80p
then i thought let me lay germanicus
the bookies increased the price to 13/10 ....then i was a bit confident of losing
but the price was too high to lay....so decided to leave this race
no regrets plenty of races like this in the coming years

As for watching the race horse at paddock is critical. For example I could see Booker Jones on with front leg bands. Is that a clue considering his forward run until the 600 last time out.
Respect to be respected. I have lots of respect for Mad Max's selections and I urge people to share analysis such as he did.

Horse racing is an industry, and gambling is the business and source of income for the people connected to this industry. So simply think before a race like this, the whole world was recommending Germanicus to win this Cup. Had Germanicus won today at EVENS entire bookies brigade all over India should have fled from the scene. What will happen if the bookies pay to 90% of punters all over India in thousands, how can they run their business whole day? Believe me they enter into the racecourse like RWITC, or HRC or RCTC after making all the "arrangements" for a profitable business. Punters are BALI KA BAKARAS. Realize it.

@ Mad Max,As they say,"I missed the bus."In spite of knowing that Germanicus can not win at this handicap,and in spite of You,BKD and Smart but poor punter pointing out that champion jockey is riding Bookers Jones,I did not bet on it Reason---I thought that may be the stable wants very long odds for Azzurro and is trying to hoodwink the bookies.
BJ won handsomely and Germanicus was unplaced in such a small field.

A FIT AZZURRO is always better than Germanicus basis Invitation Trophy run. Then we have to think what prompted the connections give the horse to work jockey Ryan Marshall when the retained jockey has accepted Booker Jones? I have got the clue from Azzurro, because Trevor not riding it, means something gone wrong with the horse. Secondly, to those objected to Western Wind, mind it guys, Western Wind would have been a different customer had it been ridden by some other jockeys. Really we have to go for a reality check how many races C.Umesh has ridden in his life over 2000 mtrs? It lost to Aika Aika Aika by SHORT HEAD + NECK, lost to GERMANICUS by NECK only. If I expected a runner-up berth you cant find fault.
I dont know how you people are doing your speed rating? Luckily I have a system, which produce Booker Jones as the best and followed by Western Wind next best.

The Body weight of the outstation horses displayed by HRC are false. I remind all race goers that whenever a horse from Mumbai runs in Malakpet they do not show the previous weight of the horse that ran in Mumbai. HRC displayed +12 Kgs for Germanicus today, whereas it was running -7 Kg. Booker Jones was running -11 Kg this also they got wrong. For Booker Jones HRC taken the previous weight when it ran in President of India Gold Gop. 12 Kg difference taken for Germanicus was from Hyderabad Derby race. Someone should take this matter with the Chairman.

More ever I don't consider Hyd a race course. It's a like Bangalore Gymkhana. Both I never played in my life.

What I can do if I dont like Ryan Marshall on Azzurro? Should it means I quit. Golden Girl has opened this thread for discussion. Let horses 1 or 2 win. What if I dont like both? It wont affect your bets or gambles?.

We saw the Doosra of Pesi Magic today on Denny crane with Adam out of frame ..

Booker Jones: -Last won a 2000m race in Oct /2016 in Mysore .
Aika Aika Aika: -4 year old who is not suited to this distance
Mahati : not suitable distance
Western Wind : One flew over the cuckoos NEST -if top 3 decide to walk in the park shud crawl and default win .
As of now looks like Germanicus shud fight with Azzurro despite the house jockey retainer of Mallya sitting on B**ker Jones ..
Depending upon odds -if place is above evens -i will take a chance on Azzurro -each way [90% place - 10- win]

Today I am in adventurous mood.
My choices - BOOKER JONES or WESTERN WIND
I will pick either one of them after seeing the paddock parade.
GERMANICUS and its Followers are cautioned, Azzurro may finish ahead of it. However I ignore it due to work jockey Ryan Marshal. Booker Jones is my First choice and followed by Western Wind.
