Let me first apologise for the delay in my response.
I have been a punter since since 1966 and have had the good fortune and pleasure of meeting some outstanding personalities in this field.
Of late. Since 2000,many more friendships have blossomed,thanks to this site.
But,is did not go about asking for tips from anyone for the simple reason that I value friendship more .
But yes,during the chats one does get an idea of the capabilities of some horses which could be turned into our God luck,God willing,
The best example that comes to my mind is --Native Knight belonging to Lagads.
Some of us were introduced to Native Knight in Pune in their stable in 2011 and were given the horses history and capabilities.
We did get benefited in NKs subsequent stupendous performances!
I can't but state here that because of Horse Talk,I have been previleged to meet such wonderful human beings -Mrs Lagadji,Tom Krish,Cruise Bangalore,Seen IT All,Glasgow Prince,Sad Sack,Chanakyaji,during 2011-2014.
At the risk of repetition we discussed so many aspects of Life besides Racing that we ran up a Total of 528 posts in 2011-12,which I am sure is still a Record.
And ,we all remain good friends even today !
From 2014 onwards,a newer set of friends were made ,again thanks to HT and the Get togethers we were part of.
Many tips are thrown around during talks and now in Whatsup messages,but I find that ,each person finally makes his own choice !
So where is the need to run behind anyone for tips?

Although Dr.Nath had the privilege of having had close contact with celeb reties. He will never ask them for any tips or opinion as far as Races are concerned. It is below his dignity. Have you ever seen or heard Dr.Cyrus Poonawala taking a bet on his horse ? They will never do it ? They have billions with them they will never come for betting. They are only patrons since they have their own Stud Race club is a necessity to market their produce to the owners and trainers.
When he was here of course for certain classic days he has given his own opinion never any inside information.
If I remember correctly once Madam Sharmila Padmanabhan told him not to neglect their horses. He ignored! The person overheard made a bounty ! Their horse really won on that day. I am unable to remember the name of the Horse. But Dr.Nath himself posted this news here.

With due respect to you Sir, you have always been very prompt in wishing jockeys, trainers and owners on their successes on their racing performances. Its really very nice of you. All of Your congratulatory messages to them clearly indicates your proximity to the racing fraternity. You have the privilege to meet jockeys (here P. Trevor), trainers and owners at their birthday parties,weddings conferences, meetings quite frequently. Your posts have often made the ITians believe that you have developed close contacts with the jockeys, trainers and the owners at a very personal level. Despite hobnobbing and enjoying such a rapport with them how come you have not been able to share a single good win with the members of this platform. Will look forward to your suggestions for some good bets in Indian racing centers.

We must all thank our friend Confused P for giving Statistical Record of Trevor 997 at Kolkatta. I have noted his posting elsewhere and put up new thread in today morning wellin advance it is likely Trevor will complete 1000 Winners.
Although our Ace Tipster Mad Max opposed it still we backed our darling Boy.

Mad Max your calculations and knowledge is impeccable but you have to consider the situation also. Some time you forget. In Hindi they say aage peeche thekna manktha hai ki nahi Last time also Bangalore Derby Race you said if you fail you will leave then we all will have to request your good self to withdraw your decision.Actually I wanted to post that due to heavy betting favorite may not win the Bangalore Derby and in order to please and calm public favorite will be asked to take start to finish an in spite of the distance and just lose at the finish. Somehow I refrained my to post my thoughts. So please do not get dejected please continue your posting. But restrict only 2 or three races only. You need not waste much of your valuable time

First and foremost,Heartiest congratulations on a Stupendous Achievement made all the more praiseworthy considering the running you jockies have to make every day from city to city.
I recall with pleasure having you with us,25 or so Brave Hearts,at Bangalore on the eve of the Turf Invitation Cup Weekend.
We enjoyed thoroughly your address to us and your frankness in answering our questions.
We understand that you will be riding in Australia shortly.
I have visited Flemington in Melbourne several times and can vouch for the fact that it is one of the if not THE,largest Race course in the world and breath taking in view.
I hope you will get to ride in Flemington and in am sure that you will enjoy riding there as well as in other Centres in Australia which has countless Race Courses ,one in each village!
