Shapoor Mistry has three horses entered - PHOENIX TIGER, B FIFTY TWO & TRAHERNE. Phoenix Tiger is out of form, running after a long lay off, poor preparation etc, hence I think he needs badly this run. ALINDAIR looks better than B.FIFTY TWO basis their last encounter in R.No.159. and TRAHERNE I doubt whether it has the class to compete in this race, where the highest rated horse in Western India competing. You may have wondered why I am discussing the Mistrys' horses. Because Pesi Shroff has the habit of pulling the favourites and gifting the race to his DOOSARA OWNERS and this horrible sequence is happening since demonetization. Although he has entered only one horse in this race, by default Mistrys horses come in that DOOSARA category. However none of them are capable of beating Your Royal Majesty. It is my personal opinion.

Jefferson finished 2nd behind colombiana during last Pune season, finished 6th to alaindair in its last start when horse returned sore.had an excellent mock race,with its favorite ridder looks good to place.
Form me it's Jefferson each way,on present form your royal majesty & supreme general with Jefferson should fight it out.

Between ALAINDAIR & B FIFTY TWO..the only 2 potential contenders, in this field of 9; I fancy ALAINDAIR to come up trumps...rather easily in the hands of Imran Khan..the inform jockey, replacing Srinath...a long time partner of Alaindair.
Pls Refer to Rc#159 run in Mumbai when they had clashed together. B FIFTY TWO just about beat ALAINDAIR enjoying 6.5 Kg advantage. Today, the difference in their relative weights is 1 Kg. Need I say anything more. Quite obvious...isn't it? Unless of course, there are hidden factors influencing their performances.

Here's my analysis of the feature race today at Pune: The Pune City Gold Cup....
ELIMINATION....
Supreme General has disappointed after being hyped by Malesh Narredu even before he started his career
Traherne is clearly outclassed here
Congressional has been steadily going downhill
Jefferson too has not lived up to his potential
ANALYSIS....
That leaves us with 4 contenders....
Phoenix Tiger, a class horse, but he is running after a long lay-off. Best to see how he runs and back him in the next race
Alaindair may be losing his spark and difficult to back him without YSS piloting him
That leaves us with B Fifty Two and Tour Royal Majesty
CONCLUSION....
As per me, the race should be between B52 and YRM. The former is a gutsy performer and Suraj would want to prove he is back to his best after two armchair wins yesterday at Mysore. YRM's pet distance is 1400M and when he ran against Accolade, I had supported YRM. On the Pune course, with a short straight, can he get 1600M? So, it's a toss-up brothers.
FINAL CALL....
I would place my bets after watching paddock looks and movement of odds. At this stage, I think YRM has a slight edge.

APpreciate your selection. But the justification given is insufficient. Prejudicial judgment. Just look at the runs from 2013 onwards of Your Royal Majesty. Twice it ran in 1600 meter category and both times, it got placed. Though pedigree supports, this particular horse, i feel, repeat i feel, is just suitable for 1200/1400 meters.
In my opinion, the race is between B Fifty Two/Jefferson(on its excellent preparation) & Supreme General (also prepared well).
My choice is Supreme General.

I was fancying Supreme General earlier due to the fact that young Akshay could not handle the horse well in couple of runs in Bangalore. PS knows the horse well and should come back to its original form.
Your Royal Majesty - Looking at its recent run with timings of 1:23:59 over 1400m seems like the horse in form. Normally he is good at 1400m, but looks as if 200m shouldn't be a problem.
Lets look at paddock, odds and then decide between the two.
