In Kolkata, my Days Best flopped I had to recover via Races 2, 3 & 4 which were a savior.
Today is Mysore, another dodgy center but we will only pick Races with Bangalore based horses:
R2 - 10 better on work, run. from 12 who planted last.1 is best but has only 1 easy gallop without swimming etc so not fit.
R3 - 14, winner, swimmed then worked well. Should Win.
R4 - between 10 &11, my choice is 10 a shade better on work.
R5 - 10, Outstanding on Paper, 12 is Shp or Place.
R6 - 4 is Days Best.
So Good Double 5-10 to 6-4.
Bets on 3-14, 4-10 after viewing. Small bet on 2-10

Mysore 08.09.2017, My observations and choices

1st Race (NO WHIP Race, confined to Mysore based horses)

1 – Eyes Hypnotize – younger one, tries start to finish always, with no whip race, might hang on for a place at longer odds
4 – Dhanyavaad – a win is due for long, winner in Septermber 2015, if gets a good jump, can upset
6 – Al Dahma – always a front runner, ran with better and speedy horses, in this No whip race, stands very good chance
8 – Catch Her Young – can be a gamble, if backed down at race time might win, or else can ignore
10 – Iroko – finishing nearer to the winners, being young might improve under this rider for place at good odds
11 – Amazing Beauty – based on its last run and present handicap, runs with upsetting chance

My choice: (6) Al Dahma each way

2nd Race

1 – Glittering Gold – won maiden race in style at longer odds, trainer always tries at longer odds, with Suraj will be hot favorite and may not try for win
3 – Fire Rainbow – can place at longer odds
4 – Aero Speed – speedy with a good jockey, can be doosra from Narredu’s
5 – Snowy Peaks – from Mumbai circuit, if given the nod can win any time
10 – Shamsadas Girl – will be in favorite, going by the last two runs, the horse might need more distance for comfort
11 – Above the Rest – can be a gamble today
14 – Indian Rocket – can improve from last run with this jockey for a place at longer odds

My Choice: (5) Snowy Peaks / (11) Above the Rest each way

3rd Race

1 – Virat – on demotion, ran with much better horses, a win is due for very long, if jockey handles well and trainer decides to win, very good chance in this bunch
3 – Blues Legend – will be in contention because of the jockey
6 – Domitia – local horse, but trainer prepares well always for coups, if backed down during race time can outclass others
8 – A Heart to Remember – won earlier with this jockey at almost same scale, will be tried again
10 – Good Earth – had a run benefit this season, but intention not clear, can upset if tried
13 – Leon – another horse with a long overdue win, both trainer/jockey/owner had a good Bangalore season, on that count can ignore here
14 – Mistress of Spice – cleared maiden in its 15th run last time out, at best may place here if keeps that form

My Choice: (1) Virat with this jockey might upset today to give this jockey his first win, (8) A Heart to Remember also to note

4th Race

3 – Shan Ben Aari – earlier won at Mysore, with this apprentice might try for a place at longer odds
6 – Momotaro – earlier won at this distance with the jockey, local hope for place
7 – Secret dimension – fashionably bred for distance, older horse, but can upset on any day if trainer decides
10 – Grand Empire – cleared maiden on debut in style, ran good 5th to in-form Lady in Lace over 1400mts, can upset
11 – Aaron the Baron – with his Derby Campaign will be hot favorite here and may oblige with this jockey
13 – Golden Diamond – with a run benefit and decent last run, can place at longer odds & may upset too

My Choice: (11) Aaron the Baron should win today, place chance on (13) Golden Diamond

5th Race

1 – Castle Key – earlier won with this jockey, can repeat that show again
2 – Shivalik Star – genuine sprinter, can upset with this jockey
3 – Mickey Mouse – ran with much better ones in recent times, if given the nod might do it start to finish easily
4 – Downtown Abbey – with this jockey in contention
6 – Never again – unbeaten at distance in OOTY, owner known for long shots, decent tracks too, can upset
10 – Sea Fairey – with same jockey had a good run behind Rafa, but with ownership changed, I suspect the intention
12 – Dazzling Bay – needs more distance

My Choice: (6) Never Again or (3) Mickey Mouse should win

3 – Speed Hawk – with this jockey might place
4 – Castle Bridge – won almost 1 crore prize money in last two races, then why entered for mere 3 Lakhs, expecting foul play
5 – Korol – had a lung opener at same ground, can upset one and all
10 – Spirit and truth – with this jockey might try for a place
12 – Magical Dancer – in excellent form for a hatrick, might do it by upsetting all calculations
14 – Sporting Pleasure – if backed up, can be a gift race to the owners for a grand double for jockey/trainer

My choice: (14) Sporting Pleasure might be a gift race or else huge upset either by (5) Korol or (12) Magical Dancer

7th Race

5 – Kir Royale – with this jockey in with decent chance to score
