To all HT members who are trying to give contradictory views and trying to put down Mr.Madmax.
Punters have to realize one thing - even MM himself has accepted - healthy discussions are always welcome. It is not so easy to give winning bets so consistently as Mr M M has been able to do.
2 things need to be appreciated here- 1st he is able to explain as to why he likes the particular horse to win. 2nd thing ( I am sure all punters will agree with me ) is -the owner/trainer have to give nod to the jockey prior to the race ( means it has to be on job ). Then only the horse can win- isnt it? This particular ( 2nd) factor also is something that is not in his hands- even he has confessed that after all it is a race- anything can happen.
Inspite of all these multicomplicated aspects of racing still he has been giving us successful tips.. so consistently..lets all join together and give him a whole hearted "THANK YOU BOSS".
Also HT members who dont like his views are free to contradict and put their views with logical explanations- ( Not just.. its the best lay bet for me!!)See if in a particular race I like A ( for whatever reason ) and if MM has tipped B as his choice.. B shouldnt become lay bet for me ( because I like A ) ( unless I am able to put forward my views ( as to why B is a lay bet).
Come on guys instead of simply envying him, try to use his tips to your benefit. ( Mind it-There is what is called Momentum- Mr.M M is going through the best momentum of his life. God willing let the same momentum continue/continue and continue)

I feel Lucas should win today.tracks with congressional should only help Lucas with decent odds.A top jockey minus track with congressional would have made Lucas to run at very low odds,I don't think it will lose today.
In the 6th race Oracle should be able to score today giving double to the trainer.

Congressional (Rating 111) trained by Bezan Lucas (Rating 60) trained by Nazak both ran on same day in Mumbai R.63 and 65 respectively. Lucas was second to Serjeant at Arms and rating gone up to 80. Whereas Congressional lost to Critic Choice and rating gone upto 112. Thereafter it shed 5 points. At the same Lucas won a Class II race and the rating gone upto 90 now. I think LUCAS is on the upgrade hence Congressional avoided.
Staristocrat, Exodus and Ship Rock are also match fit for this race, however 6 year old Staristocrat is seen out with 3 year olds in the track and same 3 yr olds are winning. I think Staristocrat is being sent out for race fitness hence avoided. EXODUS already won a race this season, fought hard with others, I preferred a jockey change on this, because like Lucas, it is also going up in class. Moreover, Santosh G. has already ridden this horse earlier seasons. That is the reason I prefer Lucas. As regards to Ship Rock, its numbers are ok, but this horse won three times in Class-III in Kolkata only then promoted to Class-II, beaten Torino type horses, hence I doubt its class.

In Akkasaheb Maharaj Trophy recently Holy Smoke clocked 70.335, Dancing Princess 70.434, St. Andrews 70.663 all these are Class-I timings. St. Andrews earlier won Class-I race in R.48 where he clocked 71.60 over 1200m, same day Gazino come out of maidens by clocking 71.12 seconds. Gazino's subsequent runs tracks are superlative, hence I preferred it to win again today.
Then this is horseracing, all are concerned with their money (Punters and Connections as well), so you play cautiously.

Last run came from behind in 1200 mtrs,

Stardom Calling, although long in the tooth, ran a commendable 3rd in Yenna Rascala's first win of the season, showing considerable improvement of form. An each way upset bet on Stardom Calling is my choice.

How ever I will go in for Star dom calling a class 3 horse ran second to Yana rascala [2nd win after this].
Since one two betting will have to go for a win only.
I do not see any third horse in the fray
Some thing tells me avoid race 1 as two jt. favs may not win.
Today top jockeys in CAL left to Yash Imran and PSC [has the max number of favs]
How ever I will go in for Star dom calling a class 3 horse ran second to Yana rascala [2nd win after this].
Since one two betting will have to go for a win only.

If there is no opposition then what is the use of these type of Discussion. Everyone has their own views and opinions and we should congratulate Indiarace Management and their Admin for giving us this opportunity in Horse Talk. As far as the debate is healthy there is no harm to anyone, all are free to continue the arguments.
I have no two opinion about my both choices, that is the reason I tipped two horses today, in fact both are my Day's Best. I have my reasons that I will post here two hours before the start of the first race, till then we will have more judgements from Horse Talkers.

I love when our selection matches, unfortunately we have had difference in opinion about Sea fairy, i guess the curse is gonna continue today..
I reiterate, i m not trying to be ur critic.. I just think Lucas badly needs this race and G santosh does not have that finish or finesse in his riding to bring Lucas to the post first, even a second place finish is doubtful. I like Exodus and Congressional.. Congressional being the Sr chenoy's ward is more judiciously prepared.. So i will tilt towards Congressional..
Gazino for me is a No go.. Though his last win was extremely impressive, extra 200, direct class 3 and unreliable connection with regards to Favourites makes me want to lay that horse if it stays at 90/100 or evens..
