When its comes to sport it all involves, not every jockey will use the whip in excess on al the mounts they ride and when its close enough to beat its inevitable. Excessive whip does not always cause bv anyways. Moreover whats your explanation when horse bleeds and turn lame when an allowance jockey astride???
The threads and discussions should cover all point of views. I heard some jockeys feed thier fav horses from their pocket. Most of the riders build an relation with the horses they ride often n they dont always ride them to hurt.
All I can say is its jus a part of game, when mishap occurs dont blame one coz we are all involved in it.

I hope the authority can give harsher punishment to the jockeys for excessive use of the whip.
