As per my knowledge BTC land was given by Mysore Maharaja to the club for possession as long as horse racing is conducted.If racing is not conducted for any reason the land has to be returned to Mysore Maharaja or central/state govt can take over.If racing is stopped BTC members lose possession or hold over the land. If BTC members understand this aspect it is better to expand membership base.May wisdom prevail over adamancy!

The assertive demand 50 memberships by the govt can only be approved by majority votes in AGM of BTC giving clearance to chairman.Present situation is that a new chairman had to be elected after which the new chairman shall call for Extra-ordinary AGM giving stipulated 21 days or so notice to consider govt list of 50 for membership and for majority of members to approve by votes.The chairman then gets the authority to approach the govt for license.BTC being a LTD co. entity has to follow the procedures laid down due which the delays are occurring and therefore competency is not in question.keep fingers crossed n give rest to purse!
Bad luck hits most people in the race course and this time is unfortunate for book sellers, ticketing staff, runner boys and others.
Earlier ex.CM lost power meddling with horses domain of BTC. Present CM listens to Rahul Gandhiji who should be explained about plight of workforce of BTC. Also as per law govt personnel should not be involved with any gambling or gambling club as per terms of the govt. If found to have broken the rules they are liable to be dismissed if the matter appears in court.

our club members r not able to get police permission to get assemble see the bad planning of our club members good for nothing better govt should takeover i think no vision or lacking behond their ability because of this poor employees and daily bases employess r suffering this is not happend in the history of horse raceing in BTC incopetient members cant handle sitiuation properly because of internal dirty politices

For every problem there will be a solution.What BTC chairman and commite members
are doing.Why can"t they discuss with govt and find a solution at the earliest.
As you have mentioned BTC lost its glory .If they delay further the problem will never be solved .
