With due respect to the analysis of Maj Nargolkar where he is rightly pointed out that any of the four are capable of lifting this prestigious event, I strongly feel that Captain Morgan should be able to beat Temerity in the last outing Captain Morgan (Suraj astride) had to be ridden out in check as Booker Jones almost hampering the run in the final stages and also at the bend Captain Morgan could not be charged amply...

Except earning his feed a gelding has no value.To join the Stayers club colts and fillies will fight. Colt can generate more money than a mare/filly! Temerity's foal value will rise by more than a million rupees if she wins...

I tipped MATHAIYUS earlier wrongly because he is the only one GELDING in the field. Rest of the runners are COLTS OR FILLIES. In such a grade-I race, the owners want their Colts or Fillies bring the baton first, so that its stud value increase. Even though I am unable to pick the clear winner., I prefer to LAY MATHAIYUS today !

In this set the only horse not won a classic is Winter Renaissance.
This horse has became fourth in Indian Oaks and Indian derby.
Vulcan is a hanicper and other horses has won a classic, hence I would prefer WR.
This is the last classic for Four year old in the country.

Mathaius and Capt. Morgan are running for the first time on Pune track. Pune track is very tricky and run benefit on that track is always an added advantage. Therefore Temerity had already scored a point on that count. Mathaius was badly collided with when Sandesh fell and broke his arm, there is every possibility Mathaius may also received a jolt which might hamper his running. Capt. Morgan is the only horse to have travelled beyond the lever distance. Capt. Morgan and Mathaius were winning alternately. Therefore it is either Temerity or Capt. Morgan.

Captain Morgan is the one to beat in Indian St Ledger. Suraj should ride this horse to victory quite easily from Temerity and Mathaiyus.

I would express the following lines since he has mentioned lines on dosage index.
Captain Morgan 12f (dam side performance influenced)
Who makes the rules 3c (also dam side Gougandine influence as a miler)
Temerity & Mathayius 6d (proven quality of owning this cup from pedigree).
Winter Renaissance 3m (NASHUA_IC has the credential to be closure)
Hence the race between mathayius & temerity only, I would rather prefer Mathaiyus being a colt & forward running in his previous outing indicates came to hand.
