In a short while the honourable BTC memberd will gather for the AGM. Out of 350 not sure ho many will attend. 150 200 250. BTC does not work like RWITC where members can do a electrocnic vote. What is the agends does anyone know. In the AGM passing of accounts, bringing in a few new members and some other silly things will be discussed. Infact no new members should be allowed today. The committee will obviously elect a new Chairman. If there is no one to stand for this post Mr.Harinder Shetty will be voted unapposed. So people who are thinking that the members are going to agree for new licence can forget it as it is already known that they are not interested.
Only option all daily staff come over tomorrow at BTC and stage dharna. Go to CM office and ask why should we suffer. Let BTC close their bar and resteraunt or if they wish to continue let them pay from increased membeship fee and not punters money which is lost in betting to fund their biryani and drinks.

First of all, when BTC formed how many members were there?
Certainly it was not three hundred and fifty, gradually it was increased, why some members ar opposing to increase the membership?????
Even if the present member dies or resignes the baton is not transferred to the kith and kin, again it will be selected through voting among the members and not by any outsider.
Like RWITC there are three or four groups, when one decide in favour of decision the other group donot accept as our opsstion party in the governement.
THESE MEMBERS HAVE TO INCREASE THE DEMAND OF GOVT. (BUDGE) FOR THE GOOD OF CLUB,THE EMPLOYEES AND PUNTERS.

Dynastic rulers will not let others in the power centre. Similarly Dynastic the membership. Even new members will uphold this selfish principle. The state of affairs should be petitioned before Supreme Court demanding Lodha committee type enquiry.Except the members who own horses other members are not affected if racing does not resume. But if racing does not take place then there is danger of BTC and it's members losing the land to govt.Only Astrologers can explain how bad luck strikes thousands of employees with different horoscopes at the same time and when good luck will return to them.

I agree the poor employees are suffering the most. But for punters it is actually good thing. Because with 10% tax we were losers and with 28% tax only daydreamers will expect to win.

Friends its high time for CM of Karnataka and chairman of BTC to take decision on Banglore Turf club....atleast they should think of poor employees of BTC.

BTC should agree to increase the members to 500.They are not going to lose anything.They should get the renewal licence from Govt and start resuming Races/IVB immediately.Nearly 2000 employees are without job and income.There is no problem with any turf club and govt in any state except BTC and karnataka govt.will they solve the problem amicably and resume races and IVB?

we know allready few vested members poor daily wages employes are suffering .
all members should collectiveley take part and should go to CM residence and submit their propsal to increase members to 500 nothing they will lose .members are not donating their property this race course belongs to all .keeping in mind present chairman should take faim descision immeditley to save poor 2000 employees
