The Deccan Derby always traditionally run on 2 nd October appears to be a Two horse race. The Colts Winner Vs the Filles Winner.., Prevalent Force Vs Lady in Lace. But going by the pedigree and improvement shown I expect Prevalent Force to be the decisive Winner. Tutankhamen won't probably stay the 2000 mts distance.

Dear SFP... Might be that Tutankhamun went lame but I feel Prevalent Force is the most improved 3 year old today. It beat Mygrator in his only second run and Mygrator won three races in Pine. Yesterday Prevalent Force bet Lady in Lace comfortably and rest by more than 15 lengths.
1600 mts and Above Prevalent Force will beat Tutankhamun ten times out of ten.

If PREVELENT FORCE were to loose for any reason, time to quit racing at this centre.
The record of Byramji and Srinath at this center are enough to play this combination today.
But no need to waste time and money in this race .There are sitters in other races.

My Choice:
9-5 TUTANKHAMUN-WIN (Should win by more than two lengths)
People are talking about PREVALENT FORCE was very clearly interfered by TUTANKHAMUN and rightly awarded the Colts Championship. But nobody seen the WINNER TUTANKHAMUN despite going erratic won the race. If Prevalent Force lost strides, the winner also lost his strides so it is irrelevant to say TUTANKHAMUN was inferior to PREVALENT FORCE on that day. I minutely analyzed the finishing effort of both horses and wish to conclude TUTANKHAMUN is the BEST HORSE in this field by a good margin of over 2 lengths.
Most astonishing aspect of this sport is PREVALENT FORCE is rated 80 but he has won stakes money of only Rs 35+ lakhs. TUTANKHAMUN (Rtg 76) & LADY IN LACE (Rtg 81) both won more than 71 Lakhs in stakes money. So I do not understand how you can say PREVALENT FORCE is better...?
Although Multidimensional extended the Champion Sire Table over Phoenix Tower with SANA's Kolkata Derby Win, Phoenix Tower progeny TUTANKHAMUN is out to grab this DERBY to close the gap between Multidimensional and keep the fight alive.

There are only 3 main contenders in this race.
P force won last race rightly as T badly hampered him. Penalised from 59 to 80 points! Last track out standing.
T''MUN Had a rating of 76 before this race and inspite of coming second has remained there!

Last run ran all over the place the horse was practically zig zaging in the last 150 mtrs.Tracks in BNG given by Suraj him self.Well prepared to get over this habit.
Lady in Lace the pedigree does not inspire much confidence and is the loner from this stud [tohana ] to be in higher class. Beat an unfit Manifold to win .
Owners have paid whopping rs 9.5 lakhs as late entry fee.
So one has to choose, my choice will be T.''MUN simple is the only horse with same rating 76 has to keep st. to win ,seems to have been well prepared.
I expect a tough battle from P. Force.
L.In Lace should come third to recover her fee
Race 2 Heathrow lost 4 lts at the start yet won a 1200 mtrs race being eased up in the last 30 mtrs
A clear winner surprisingly no one seems to like it

I think Tutankhamun can easily stay 2000 m distance .. My concern is the horse should not hang out in the last 150 m of the race after getting hit by the whip as we have seen it happening with the horse time by time.Tutankhamun is really big horse with huge strides but the problem is problem.
If it maintains the straight running it could be a tough nut to crack.
Suraj hasn't forgotten the objection.
