I think today's Hyderabad Derby Day indeed a Record Day to some extent :

1) Derby day without Jockey Sandhesh-Trevor or Ps Chowhan not riding a Single Horse.

2) Derby day without Trophy for Traditional winners
a) Prata Reddy, Dhunjibhoy, Dr MAM Dr.Vijay Mallaya, , Dilip Thomas, Col Nair
Farook Rustomji Dr.Cyrus Poonawala etc., elite winning group

3) Derby day without a Trophy for L.V. Deshmukh. If his Stable Jockey Hannam is hospitalised he could have engaged equally good jockey for the Derby Day.
4) Out of 10 Races just 4 favorites obliged. Derby Race conducyed with Rain. Fortunately Favorite obliged. But for Srinath we would have lost considerable money in Derby Race.

5) I have left the Chennai MRC after the Derby Race I do not how the Horse 2 became favorite all of a sudden.

6) Many fancied Horses failed due to Trainers not engaging a good jockey.

6) Postmortem Analysis showed BIG HEART won by 5 lengths in the previous outing
We could have considered this horse but we neglected due to other fancied horses.

On the whole Hyd Derby day was neither profitable nor loss but still was an enjoyable day.
