A small field of six runners has accepted to run in this cup race..Going by the market trend the race seems to be confined to two 4 yrs. old i.e. Flirting Eyes and Masada.Both are expected to fight with each other for the top spot.
However,I feel that 5 yrs. old Back Of Beyond,who is giving age and weight to the youngsters is well placed in the scale is capable of beating both.My vote goes to Back Of Beyond.

You are absolute right when you say that the money saved is money earned.There is another race or another day,so never play very big especially in a centre like Mysore.
@ Krishna,I did not like the jockey.The horse was carrying more weight than the youngsters,and the connections had not gone with a jockey with allowances,so I thought they must be very confident of winning with this jockey,since it was a cup race,and odds were good.Cheers.

I have been noticing from past few years your choice rarely fails,am sure you have some successful techniques for choosing a particular bet.my choice was back of beyond too,but jockey on it didn't inspire me.Thanks to BTC for not conducting off course orelse after seeing you tipping back of beyond I would have had a big bet,money saved is money earned.

C many gave it as good thing. My bad luck
Backed it at 1.5/10 shot up to 3.75 .the reason a rumour floating around horse is unfit hence will be withdrawn. All money on Flirting eyes. Bookies kept on reducing its rate. Collection time bookie told me last bet on Masada was a 26/10 after that none.
Late MAM''S horse have mastered the Art of escorting the Winner to the post.

A straight forward race miss-calculated by the stalwarts.
This is the kind of fear that prevails now a days in races that make us ignore two top jockeys riding younger in form horses and pin our hopes on lesser known jockeys. We were expecting the unexpected that is so normal these days.

Firstly don't expect the cranky CHANDINI to hit the front. it will never ever happen.
In my view MOMOTARO will lead and then at about 1600 mts IMITATION GAME WILL TAKE OVER AND SIMPLY RUN AWAY WITH THE RACE.
I too fully agree with you once during winter it ran third to GUSTY WIND, that was in 40-65 and IMITATION GAME was just imported from Mumbai.It went to lead and was a distance ahead at the 800 mts and then weakened.
Next two runs were easy with 62 kgs in lower class where it was finishing ON.
In Mumbai it won a 2400 mts start to finish , I endorse your view and inform HT friends have a good bet on this horse. IT WILL WIN START TO FINISH

Back of beyond certainly has the capability to beat this set. All jockey vishwanath has to do is sit tight and ride sensibly, no heroics needed. Its free striding horse. Same jockey is giving track work so it shouldnt be a problem.Value bet

MASADA IS WELL PREPARED. BACK OF BEYOND CAN WIN, WHEN IT IS RUNNING IN 5Y AND UPWARDS RACE. SO MY CHOICE IS MASADA.

RAKESH has entered 3 horses. 7 year old mare (the smallest in look and body weight) is mesmerizing the Mysore morning track and last three work outs are clocked 39-38-37 for 600m (approx 43-42-41 in Bangalore), whereas his Western India import is being systematically prepared with the race in view. If CHANDINI set the pace it will be difficult for other horses to catch up. Perhaps it may aid stablemate IMITATION GAME which has been prepared with the event in view and a coup can be expected. It has beaten June and Sanam like horses easily in Pune and distance is her fort.
FLIRTING EYES - No track work for over a month. No Swimming as well. If you take SATINETTE as a Key horse, then MASADA is better than FE. Then we have R.181 where Back of Beyond beaten Masada out of the ground over the present distance. Moreover riders of FE and M both may carry overweight...?
So my choice:
5-IMITATION GAME-UPSET
