For Derby actually the race is between Dr.Cyrus Poonawala-Dr.MAM-Mahindra and Vijay Shirke only/
It is absolutely useless to do calculations considering the present situation. I thiunk Dr.Cyrus Poonawala will take the Derby Trophy with his Horse Zanara in the hands of Jockey Sri Nath.

Yesterday was a fruitful day for Wise Punters. Today also, be wise, watch colour and weights before wagering. My selection:
1 - 2, highest rated, lost badly last up, give another chance. 3 is only danger.
2 - Very difficult race, 1 same rider repeats after narrow loss. 2 rider is negative. 5 improving youngster, jockey switch, equipment change, working well, will stay. 6 brilliant movement last 2 races, jockey suspect. 8, youngster, twice failed favourite then sent on long trip, bloodlines best, will stay, excellent work, big threat.
3 - 8, well handicapped, working best. 6, enquiry horse, working with app. suspect. 4, highest rated, twice lost to youngsters. Watch Racetime!
4 - 9, full sister to Holy Smoke, working well, should have a bold say.
5 - Upsetters 7 & 10 both well handicapped, working well & swimming. Watch out!!
6 - Very close between Holy Smoke and ST. Andrews, nobody else.
7 - Lady in Lace and Kangra, both can win. Pure Zinc Class suspect. Nobody else
8 - 10, Sassy Lass should Win from 6, Soreno.
9 - 1 Looks Good or 12 may upset.

Pune Derby Day
1st Race
None of the horses impress me a bet here, but as there will definitely be a winner, I hope (9) Synchronicity might give first winner to jockey or (8) Royal Éclair first winner to trainer this season
2nd Race
(5) Baby Face to fight it out with (8) Fantasy Star, later if ridden well may have upper hand
3rd Race
(6) Texas Gold has age advantage and form, but has to tackle (8) Drogo, also expecting a gamble on (3) Sussex Pride today
4th Race
(6) Astral Flare may lift this trophy; watch out for the first timer (9) In the Stars
5th Race
Both (1) New England & (4) Mygrator in top form, later having age advantage, but I feel at these weights (10) Makino is the horse to beat in this set
6th Race
(3) Holy Smoke had practically beaten all in the bunch except (5) Congressional in the last run and with change in jockey may win again, Congressional on other hand never won a sprint, might break that jinx today for an upset
7th Race
Very open Derby, based on its last win I fancy (10) Auburn to upset (5) Pure Zinc & (9) We break the Rules, for (11) Kangra, trainer not won this season at Pune & (12) Lady in Lace couldn’t win at parent centre and on a new ground even place looks doubtful, (2) Capriska might place at longer odds because of its staying prowess
8th Race
(8) Epiphany was seen finishing well in debut run, if shows improvement is the horse to beat here, (10) Sassy Lass with top jockey in saddle can give fight and may give first winner to the trainer (not reliable)
9th Race
On age both (6) Timeless Deeds & (12) Goofy eyes to fight it out, also note (11) Flute Player which might give a double or opening to trainer this season, based on first race
