Hats Off To Trainer Narendra Lagad

By Abhay...pune | 01-Nov-2017
A very impressive performance by trainer NARENDRA LAGAD,who became 8th time champion trainer in PUNE season.

Most important and unique thing about trainer Lagad is he always keeps his horses in fine condition and no veterinary or fitness problem for his horses.some of his mediocre pedigree horses won the races in PUNE who beats highly priced horses of other trainers.

He always trying for win his horses.

BEST LUCK FOR UPCOMING MUMBAI SEASON.

Narendra Lagad, is a thorough professional, hardworking, trains his wards to the best of his ability and Delivers to the owners, who has over the years have placed their trust in him. To a professional like him, that is all that matters. He is under no obligation to punters like us,who have failed to break his code, and the blame lies squarely on us--not Lagad.

The stewards are there to catch him on the wrong foot, which has rarely happened. At least in my memory, he has never been suspended, which is saying a lot about his capabilities,

He has achieved a rare honour of being a champion trainer for the eight time. As a punter, can anyone here claim to be on the plus side for 2-3 consequetive seasons. Gentlemen, the frustration and failures is our own making, and let us not try to find scapegoats outside.

Congrats Sir,To you and your dedicated team. Hope you have a good Mumbai season too. That would be something !

REGARDS.

Guys, as an owner and as much as I hate Narens tactics I have to give him the credit he deserves.
This line is his bread and butter, he's obliged to earn it in every which way he can and as long as his owners are happy why should he worry about the public? All owners are part of A or his Team and all are privy to the information leading up to a Win where the Strike Rate may not be optimum but commendable nonetheless.
With a string of over 100 horses, very few blue blooded, he's doing an admirable job unlike the Shroffs, Todywallas and Malleshs who are patronized by the big guns with the best stock possible but who deliver only in Classics or like.
Its no secret that he repeatedly yanks all his horses in Mumbai to make them and himself win in Pune, his hometown. However, others can't follow suit for therein lies his expertise in the trade, his prowess as a horseman and his nose for timing and priming his Winners.
So, before denigrating anybody, we should introspect as we are the suckers who always fall prey in this jigsaw puzzle whose Addiction is our unbecoming. We should overcome this Addiction by "Picking and Choosing which Ball or Race to Hit" to become Professionally Equipped to handle the likes of Him.
In this vein, there are a few Good Tipsters in this Forum who Practise this Mantra by Selecting just a Winner or Two in a Card not blindly guessing All Races as Posted and Visible!
Best Regards to All.

MR Lagad has yet to cross 60 years. This shows your knowledge in racing let alone the technicalities.I am surprised at Dr Nath chiding you as he had very good respect for you in the past. This language of yours has brought out your true colours Mr BKD.
Keep it up!!

Dear BKD

Now a days there is big competition in horse racing, winning a single race is not easy for any trainer especially in handicap racing.

As per my knowledge its not a ideal situation to playing with DOSRA OR TISRA.

Two maiden horses 1-ARABIAN STORM,2-HARMONY transfer from well known stables to LAGADS stable & won instantly.

Healthy criticism and suggestion always welcome.

Dear Lagad ji

Many congratulations for the championship

I really feel sad when some renowned tipster also talking from their pockets, I don't think trainer will have complete control over outcome of the races, doosra or theesra comes when someone cannot identify which horse has better chance to win, and bookies and those punter who makes favorite thinks that it is the only horse having chance to win is simply foolishness, in any race all the horses have equal chances and by virtue of luck some longer odds one gets through is not intentional from trainer. Even if it is intentional and those crying about doosra and theesra knows that why don't they play the doosra and theesra and make money, why cry after the race when you know that doosra is theesra is going to come

I am happy to see Some one calling a spade a spade.

Many examples horse no where next time longer odds wins.

A trainer is known for classic wins not in 5A and 5B [80 of his wins ] are there

Many trainers do not try in Pune.hence champ here.

It is funny the same writers keep finding fault in many races but here cannot resist in praising him.

No wonder racing will carry on with such hypocracies

First things first.
My Heartiest congratulations to Shri.Narendra Lagadji for Yet another stellar performance culminating in bagging the Trainers Championship for the Eighth Time.
Fantastic,Sir.
Now,coming to BKDs post,I am frankly shocked and even appalled.
What a cheap way to talk about anyone in these deragatory terms.
As if no other Trainer in this great country doesn't have their Doosras/ Teesras win! from time to time!
I strongly appeal the Management of HT to put their foot down and edit the posts for the contents- in respect of poor English, malicious language and down right insinuating and insulting language which has pervaded the present day postings.
Gone are the niceties and appreciative words of yesterday years and it is almost impossible to find a post which one can look forward to read, barring the Contests.

His 'Doosra's keep striking at regular intervals.

When will you relinquish this malpractice, Naren? Havn't you made enough money over the years, squeezing the hapless punters?

Try to reform yourself and be more gentlemanly...at your stage in life cycle, (you are perhaps well into your seventies) you should be more concerned with self esteem rather than sullying your own image!

Hope to see you in a better light.

Starone :

You are correct :Since so many years Mr.Lagad's horses have been performing consistently well in Pune. - Repeat PUNE only when other trainers are not interested in spoiling their horses in Rainy monsoon weather

Mr. Narendra Lagadji has done an excellent job with his mediocre pedigree horses. Interestingly most of his favourite horses have won.

Keep up the good work.

He s one trainer not aiming for classics.he has knowledge and knack to play his skill in handicapping his horses.that s the reason he always win in handicap races rather than classics.most of other trainers dosent have such skill to study their horse handicap graphs.but still I suggest Lagad to aim for classics and Derby races in future.only classics and Derby adorned ones crown not how many races he won in handicaps races.

Agreed , Even Kasbekar , S Waheed And Jodhas had a great season .

Trainers like Pesi shroff, Dallas Todaywala, Bezan , Should be ashamed , surprised how come the owners of horses not annoyed with them.

Pesi has more then 70 horses and there was no show on Derby week end , forget week end , entire season .

Trainers of RWITC should be ashamed , Hyderabad horse defeated all the horses by huge margin : )

owners of horses with good pedigree will need a very consolidated justification from Trainers.
