For the present don't break your head with BR.Only when there is Weight Raised BR comes into being.
Always align yourself with Ratings because Weight Carried OR Handicap will depend on the company in which it is running.
Following are the Handicap Classes at Hyderabad
1-30 26-46 42-62 58-78 74+
At Kolkata 1-26 21-46 41-66 61-86 81+
So there is nothing like 22-42 Class at Hyderabad.
Now coming to Aakashvani Race The Rating of Aakashvani is 55 and this is 42-62 race.
There were no horses above 55 Rating and so this horse has to carry 60KG which is the Stipulated Min Top weight at HRC.Suppose if there were horses rated above 55 and if there was a horse rated 62 it will be set at 60Kg.In such a race Aakashvani will be carrying 56.5KG.How means because it is a 42-62 class a horse rated 42 will carry 50Kg and Aakashvani rated 55 will carry 42+13=50+6.5Kg ie 56.5KG.Since it carried 3.5Kg more weight compared to the standard scale I am saying that this race is 3.5KG weights Raised race.Just leave it there.When Aakashvani runs again we will discuss.
Now with this background look at RNO 1 of Kolkata tomorrow.
Handicap Class 1-26 Horse Rated 1 to carry 50Kg and horse rated 26 to carry 50+(26-1)/2=50+12.5Kg OR 62.5Kg this is weight of Raqs Shaeqi.
There is no Weight Raise.
Also note that BR is same for a Race and does not change from horse to horse.
Look at RNO 4 of Kolkats 41-66 race
Roman Flame Rated 66 carrying 50+(66-41)/2=62.5Kg
At Bottom Weight there are 2 horses Logano and My Lady Luck both are carrying 50Kg but one is rated 41 and the other rated 40 because the min stipulated bottom weight is 50Kg so My Lady Luck is at 1/2Kg disadvantage but still allowed to run as this race is for 41-66 rated horses 21-45 Eligible.May be this horse is not a weight carrier and trainer felt that Low Weight may help it.
The Rating of 61.7 I have given is not average of few races it is the Rating earned by Aakshvan based on its Win RNO 5.
Remember Weight may change depending on the company it is running but Rating does not change so always align yourself with Ratings.

You are almost there except for BR.This race is a Handicap Race for 42-62 Class.So standard Bottom Rating is 42 which means that a horse Rated 42 will have to carry 50Kg.Now look at Rebellion it carried 56Kg and Rated 47.At HRC min Bottom Weight is 50Kg so BR of horse is 47(Rating of Rebellion)minus 2*(56-50) 2 RPs per KG.So BR is 47-12=35.
So we note it as Weight Raised by 42-35=7 OR 3.5KG and not other way round.So the Computed Rating OR Revised Ratings as per us are same as you have noted.These Ratings are at BR of 35.If tomorrow they run in a Standard Scale Race of 42-62 you add 0.15*7=1.05 to the Rating.This 0.15 is an Empirical Value by observation.
Hope you now got a clear idea.Now regarding your Excel File you record the Computed Ratings in the following format
hy061117 13 AAkashvani h5yu 42 11(Distance short form of 1100) Blk 7(WR) 61.7 52 47.8 54 48 Blk is for Distance Normalization Factor which will be useful to plot Standard Time for the Race.

Note For a Race you have only one row and not 5 rows and you can always refer to Results Page to note to which horse the Rating of say 52 applies etc.

My suggestion is you follow my system for sometime and after you get familiar with it I can provide all details but it is tedious and time consuming.
What I will do is provide Computed Ratings of first 3 horses after the Race day within a day or two.You have your Excel sheet for referring back to the horse's Rating while studying the Race.For this I suggest the following format
1 Centre&Date 2 Running Sl No of race 3 BR as per card 4 Computed Ratings of 1st 3 horses plus Rating of 4th horse as it is(4 columns) and the 5 BR as per me(see below for putting this column immediately after BR)
Better thing will be after BR as per card go to the Race Club web site and note down Weight Raised OR Lowered Here our BR will be Race Club BR minus WR(we put +ve for Weight Raised) so RNO 5 of our example BR corresponding to our Computed Rating is 42-7=35.
HRC does not give WR/WL figures so I will inform you WR/WL for HRC.Similarly Kolkata Club uses a term called Scales Raised which you will find in Handicaps this is nothing but Weights Raised.It is RWITC which gives this information uniformly in Acceptances Page.
Mind you for Terms Races also there will be Weights Raised so for Terms Races I will inform BR and WR/WL information.
Tomorrow when you plan to have your own Excel sheet my suggestion is to have a format more exhaustive which will adding few more columns which I will introduce to you after sometime.

Hope you have now got some idea about Analysis By Ratings.The drawback of my system is that my Computed Rating and Official Rating are very closely matched with the result that decision making becomes difficult.
To overcome this problem I am experimenting with Timing Analysis.As you may have seen Handicapper is not bothered about the Times clocked in a Race he treats all races are same ignoring fast and slow timings but we have to take into account because a horse with better timing than another of same Rating should be preferred.Here Timing analysis helps us.
I saw your post on Track work.My advice to you is not to add too many factors and get confused.May be shoe change is important parameter but as you would have observed you get meagre Odds if all factors point to a horse.For Value Bet the horse will have some negative factor.
On Timing I provide you Races whose Timing are above Average for the day.May be you can give some weightage if you are choosing between 2 horses.
Kolkata Day 1 RNOS 7 and 8
Hyderabad Day 1 Races 1 and 7
Day 2 Races 12 and 14 Continuous RNOs for Winter seasn.

Sorry if I have not made myself clear.The figures I gave earlier are Revised Ratings as computed by me based on the Result of the race.
Analysis by Ratings means Comparing today's Official Rating with our Rating as computed based on the result of the previous race.Satying with Race No 5
Aakashvani ran Unplaced in last 3 races and more so my system cannot Analyse its chances.The Drop in Weights observed is as a result of reduction in its Ratings.Looking at Weights gives wrong impression of Penalties handed out to horses if there are some Weight Raised races.If you are using IR web site then just click on the horse's name AAkashvani you will see that its Rating has gone down from 57 to 55 but Weight 60Kg is same in both cases.(RNO 205 and RO 13)A drop of 2 RPs should result in 1Kg drop but it is same.How this happens
RNO 205 is a Race with 2.5Kg Weight Raised so actual Weight on standard scale is 60-2.5 ie 57.5KgRNo 13 of Winter is 3.5Kg Weight Raised so 60Kg is equal to 56.5Kg on standard scale the drop is 1KG which may be appearing as Advantage but it is Drop in Rating for not coming on board.
Now coming to Delta Force placed 3rd in RNO 57 of Monsoon its Computed Rating is 53.8 and it was allotted 54 in RNO 13 so it is running at 0.2 Disadvantage.The Advantages and Disadvantages are in such small ranges that is why I am using Timing Analysis to arrive at top 4 horses and then put Rating Adavantage/Disadvantage to select the horse.
Look for Aakashvani's Revised Rating at HRC web site and observe its weight in the next race.It may give an impression that it was penalised by 1 or 2 Kgs but if you observe the difference in Ratings you will get the correct picture.
After you study this post we can discuss your method of working which I am not able to follow fully.

Horseweight = 55.5+0.5=56Kg it should be
weight raised by 3.5 kg
56+3.5=59.5 It should be on race day but it is 59.5 exactly so there is no advantage
Advantage for thirs horse
45to52=7 rating points increased = 3.5kgs but promtion from IV to III = (42-62=20rating points = 10kgs)10Kgs
previous weight-10kgs = 59.5-10kgs=49.5Kgs + 3.5 kgs = 53kgs
weight raised by 3.5 kgs
53+3.5 = 56.5 Kgs it should on race day but it is 58.5 So there is 2kgs disadvantage
Like that I have calculated for all horses
Thats why AkshVani has 2.5 kgs advantage in class but timings are poor on past performances

I will comment in detail tomorrow.You are mixing Weights and Ratings.My method is compare today's Rating with our Computed Rating from its previous Won/Placed race out of 3 previous races.In my analysis we have Advantage OR Disadvaltage in Ratings which can be viewed as Kgs also at 1RP to 1/2Kg.

For Analysis by Ratings we have our own system of Rating of horses based on the Result of a Race.
Normally 4th horse Rating is maintained same irrespective of how far beyond it finished from Winner.Taking 2nd 3rd and 4 th horse by turns we compute the Rating for Winner.
The calculations are little tedious and I use Excel Sheet to do the calculations.If you are keen in Analysis by Ratings we can discuss later.For the time being I give for next few days the Revised Ratings as computed by me for Winter races.
4th horse no change in Rating.Winner,2nd and 3rd horse Ratings are given Race wise.5th horse and below my file does not have values.So unless the horse finishes on Board the Rating is not computed and even here up to 3 horses only.
Winter season Race wise Revised Ratings for first 3 positions.(Hyderabad)
RNO 1 53 50.5 49 Bottom Rating after WR adjustment 39
2 37 32.3 28.5 TM2Y will not be Rated by Handicapper
3 51.6 40.7 31.1 BR 26
4 41.7 45.5 32.5 BR 25
5 45.4 41 44.3 BR 26
6 51.8 45.8 44.2 BR 25
7 82 88.6 81.1 BR 74

If a horse goes to next class you add 3 Rating points.This I am experimenting in some cases 2 appears to be correct.
Class change has to take into account actual Bottom Ratings of Classes Eg RNO 6 is Weight Raised by 1 RPs race so nest time when it is be rated in 42-62 class the Class change is not 42-26 but 42-25 after taking into account Weight Raise of 1 RPs .We need to add 17*0.15 ie 2.55 not just 3 for class change.
Little confusing but you just note down the above values for the first 3 horses and next time subtract Official Rating from the Computed Ratings Positive value is advantage and Negative value id disadvantage.I hope to provide these values as far as possible for few days.After you get some confidence I will give you detailed calculations.Beware it may sometimes throw up absurd choices.You have to apply other factors.

ZELUS has a class chance in Own Opinion Plate-1600M over "Mahateji".

ZELUS- Started Bangalore season with good 2nd to "PHENOMENAL CRUISE". One thing to note- Phenomenal Cruise allotted 43 rating on that performance, ZELUS got 36 rating. "Phenomenal Cruise" took advantage of allotted rating, and recorded a smashing victory in 26-46 class 4 on top handicap weight. On the other side, ZELUS changed the instrument (putting Tongue Strap), won comfortably maiden 1400M. The instrument effect and run of ZELUS was so solid, trainer directly entered this horse to Deccan Derby. It is rarely seen such low rated animal who just won his maiden status entered directly in Derby. On the underfoot conditions, he performed very well, proves trainers confidence on him. He got rating promotion(43-50)which shows his good turn of foot in Derby. After such solid performance, he got the distance to prove himself.
Mahateji failed to tackle Big Heart(Who is out handicap today) after giving 2.5kgs in previous run. It is very difficult for her to beat ZELUS, giving 4kgs today. On top jockey Mr Neeraj Rawal is on board, ZELUS will canter the field.
