I am not going to Australia only for Racing and it will be a suicidal attempt also. I have other work assignments for me in Australia and Fiji Island. Racing is just a Hobby only I bet only on fancied Horses and Favorite Jockeys only and I do not bet all races.

Racing is only a Hobby for me.I am not a Professional Punter. I do not depend on Racing income. I have my own income for my personal expenses. I do not bet all races and I follow my favorite Frequently Winning Jockeys only. Al though many people here may not agree with me I am of the opinion it is the Jockey who actually takes the Horse to the winning post. Of course ability of the Horse also important still I feel Jockey plays an important role. Yesterday at Kolkatta Jockey John made a clean sweep.

Going to Australia for just Racing will be suicidal attempt !!! I am not going there for just Racing. I have other assignments also for me.

Excited to see your posting of going to Australia,that to earning bit from Calcutta races,(that is catchy point here,as i used to dream 45 years back in the same way.well later part of life , i worked in 8 countries and traveled some 36 countries on company work).

If you don,t depend on racing income, going to Australia it is a dim a dime.

You have stated that half way the event, you can cancel the bet with bookies, what about the tote?. Indian racing system is almost the copy of the other parts of the world. I think your statement of cancel the bet is not true because they are also like us.

I am going to Australia not for Racing only. I have got certain personal work Teaching assignment in many schools on MIND DYNAMICS.I may visit Fiji Island where we have seizable Indian Community we have a school by name Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School ! I have made a friendship with a prominent trainer. Thanks to our Trevor! if I bet I will bet his stable Horses only. I will not indulge in other Horses and I may not have much time also to study and analyse the Horses record !! Today morning His horse NO ANNAMOSITY won for the third time and made hatrick. Bad luck Trevor missed 2 wins just for nothing. I have congratulated the trainer as well his Jockey Ms.Ruby. Few days ago she brought an another horse Jomars Element fantastically. First of all congrats for planning to visit AUSTRALIA. Hope everything goes well according to your plan.After going through your detailed racing scenario in AUSTRALIAN CIRCUIT, have the same doubt about along with our friend RAGAVAN JI. Particularly option of cancelling the bet once race started.We hope that you may clear all these doubts after returning from a successful and adventurous trip.

1. Bet can be cancelled even after the start of the race?

It shall be a protection to punters who bet favorites but the favorites do not come out of the stall itself. (Gryffindor recent example).

But, is it true? Well. I desire answer from a person who has visited Australia. Our own friend, Ayyarnet is planning a visit to Australia and he can give his brief when he returns to India. (In India, you can not cancel your bets even in respect of withdrawn horse).

2. Australian book makers are not conjus. O K. It can mean that there is no corruption to the extent we see here.

3. Part of my expenses will be collected from forth coming races in Kolkatta only.

2018 is still 51 days away. God willing you can collect the full expenses. But, just remember. You plan your bets (in India) according to merit of the horse and not according to the expense in Australia. Bet what you can afford.

4. In India, race betting is the surest way for a karodpathi to become a millionaire. (I am rank pessimist). Just a warning which I would like you to remember in your sub-conscience.
