Ruffina-, Lincoln will not fetch any money. Play all you can on 1(2) Goldie's pet and go home immediately.
In the stars and Take five may place without much odds for place to play.
Bad day as for as odds are concerned.
No one is going to make much profit except few who go behind flukes if at all one or two oblige. That is also in doubt.

Welcome friends to the brand new Mumbai season. The card is littered with odds-on favourites, not all of them automatic choices to win. Being the beginning of the season, prime contenders may still have some niggling fitness issues, so be careful and do not blindly follow the favourites....
Race no. 1:
Pesi Shroff's filly Anacapri has to overcome well-performed rivals Goldie's Pet and God's Own. And though the distance of 1000M may be a tad sharp for Anacapri, I believe she has done enough to justify favouritism here and win the opener for her master.
Race no. 2:
Ruffina is the piping hot favourite here, but I have two queries about her. One, Excellent Art has not impressed as a sire. Two, she may find the distance of 1400M a bit longer than what she would prefer. In my view, at 30p she does not represent a value bet. So, either avoid or play Mygrator each-way.
Race no. 3:
A rather open race. I would avoid the favourite Take Five here. Better to back Trevor on Turning Point for Place.
Race no. 4:
In The Stars won her debut race very well and deserves to be the prime contender here. But the one I like is Forest Fairy - she was a bit unlucky in her last essay as her inexperienced rider could not get her off the rails in time to mount her challenge. Else, she would have definitely finished close to the winner. Now with YSS in the saddle, FF becomes a strong fancy.
Race no. 5:
Renato won with plenty in hand in his debut assignment and would be fancied for an encore here. However, half-money odds over a 1000M trip are a bit risky, particularly since Renato's draw no. 11 in a field of 13 is a huge put-off. Ascension has the same draw problem (no. 13). So, stay away. If you must have a flutter, then consider Art Deco and Touch Me Not. Art Deco has generally disappointed, so it may pay to back Touch Me Not for a place.
Race no. 6:
Lincoln was impressive winner in his last start and should romp home here. The danger horse is Lady Sergeant purely on account of the feather weight she is being asked to carry. But Lincoln is my Day's Best.
Race no. 7:
Class V race and best avoided. But if you must, then each-way bet on Lilac Time is recommended.
Employ caution on opening day. Hunt happily....

Mumbai opening day 19/11/2017
Impressive winner on debut IN THE STARS is our star of the day in the 3.30 class 4 encounter.
The filly looks capable of winning some top races.
She was electric on debut clocking 1.09.79 for a 1200m, a class 1 timing.
Today’s trip will play to her strengths and she won’t be disgraced against some genuine rivals.
ANACAPRI kicks us off in the 2.00 pm class 2 handicap over a short scurry. She returns from an absence but hails from a yard adept at producing its runners ready to fire and is on the up.
Star filly RUFFINA [2.30] is progressing along the right lines - and there is more to come.
Conditioned well , the daughter of Excellent Art is four from four including PBMM.
TURNING POINT is a nice prospect and the 3.00 has been the target since she was beaten by one length & little over as a favourite by today’s rival WBTR at Pune. With blinkers added TURNING POINT looks the scopier of the pair.
RENATO [4.00] led all the way to win her maiden at Pune last start. Plenty of scope for improvement dropping in distance and a winning chance again.
LINCOLN [4.30] showed great acceleration and won in a canter at Pune under a 5kg claimer. Up in class & trip he can measure up to these with strong rider in saddle.
MOONSHINE [5.00],has come back from a spell and she will only improve off her last good 3rd. Note the massive switch in rider. YUTAKA has been eased in grade and must include in chances.

Your good self taking much strain to analyse all races ! Nobody can win all Races and it is well known thatt few Races are to the advanges of Book makers and also to filter the Jackpot Tickets. Hence it will be nice if you can kindly select a few Eaces where chances of winning bright and bit easy. It will be beneficial to all.

Art Deco trained by Dallas now ridden by Trevor should fight with Ascension. Art Deco is failed favourite at 55 paise and a wt carrier as well had couple of runs. Though Ascension has improved a lot and likely to do so after run behind Lincoln so was Art Deco. Though in opening remarks my selection is Ascension but I am Trevor fan so will back Art Deco. Priceless Girl of course can come closer.
4th race - Glyndebourne - pedigree - Western Aristocrat - can anyone elaborate about pedigree pointers.

It's clear to be a fight between less fancied FABIO and PRICELESS GIRL....both may be available at lucrative odds...not sure regarding the latter
PRICELESS GIRL seems to have an edge among these though the former can't be ignored if SJ Sunil and the connections are going for it...
The above two are my choice...

every year some of the learned HT boarders used to post the list of horses to be followed as per there judgement and this used to be for mumbai,banglore and hyderabad seasons but this year none of you have posted.it is of great help to all of us.just an example to quote is,everyone of us knows two
of the horses to follow this season are running in anacapri and ruffina but many of us would miss out on 'in the stars'running in 4th race, full brother to phonix tiger and won easily his first start.in my opinion it also the horse to follow.
i request the learned HT boarders to please post the horses to be followed this season for at least mumbai and hyderabad seasons.

Hopefully there wont b paucity of Runners and More races with few dollops to Punters if Club contribute a lac or more to attract Tote Betting in Win placeJp.And definitely expecting Just and Fair odds on FOB rather than prevalent half than what the stall Bookies offering to Richie Rich .
