in the 6th race of the mumbai races horse no.2 Lincoln was colapsed in the starting gates, but unfortunately they allowed to run. They would have withdrawn the horse. So punters money gone to drain.

Dear Trans,
First understand the topic under discussion, then comment. Everyone knows that races are fixed. here the onus is on vet, whether he made the right call or not.
Regarding your observation, a bookie alone cannot fix the race, unless the connections are involved.
The best thing a bookie can do, to take trainer into his scheme of things, and if he is not ready, then contact jockey. But in these two cases, the connections are the scapegoats.
And who knows, our bet wins because someone pulled the favourite. its all part of the game.

The total Collection of Mumbai Tote for any given Race in Win is less than One lacs .Guys plz dont use free Racing blogs to fool the Viewers in believing that The Racing Clubs r Culprits all the time .At every Centre Bookies controlled the Racing hand in gloves with few cahoot Professional ,when there is More than Crores Betting with illegal as well Official Stall Bookies they lose .Just Remember SetAlight/Mystical/BSafe loss .Yes The RWITC can monitor FOB to bring back the Commoners but then Nobody interested in Tote Betting incl FOB due to half odds and So any Damn meritorious odds on can lose with Top Joc without any Enquiry ,only Little known Joc riding questioned as a hogwash .

My only contention was that when apprentice had won earlier with ease, why not repeat the rider.
And above that , putting srinath on it was the strangest decision, he is notorious for pulling on money favourites. Old habits die hard.

Who said the bookies didnt accept betting on ruffina. The fact was that the moment, ruffina odds opened, there was a rush in betting with big bettors making big calls. the bookies tummy was full in seconds, so they reduced the odds further making it even difficult to get decent odds.
Bookies never refuse to accept bets (unless the amount in huge). they merely decrease the odds to dissuade punters.

The bookies in Delhi were simply not accepting bets on Ruffina but were happy to accept of any amount on Lincoln. So, there surely was news about Lincoln available with vested interests.

Correct. AS only the big punters played it,they were not worried about the gen.public. like us here.
First MYS than CAL and now MUM, The same game is being played.
Racing is a doomed sport because of such actions.
RWITC is no different than DELHI ,CAL or MYS.

Yes i too agree with you. Even the tote returns are too low when compare to the mysore tote dividends. Glorious eyes [ fourth favourite avail at 7/1 ] played place bet at 1.5 odds. But look at the dividends of RWITC given money back rs 10 only, where the favourite TAKE FIVE got higher dividend.

The issue wasn't club commission. The real issue was that bookies and operators had laid the horse to tune of crores. So, the horse had to run and lose. Elemanrary, Dr. W.

They prefer their commission over punters money
if it was allowed to be withdrawn, club commission would have gone down the drain.
