As I said how does filing so many petitions help. If trainers were affected why did they not file a petiton in October. Why wait till BTC files a petiton. How many petitions can court accept on same subject. Does not make sense.

You said..I maybe wrong but current CM was instrumental in banning lottery. Same can be said on horse racing if they wish reading this article.

Reply:
LOTTERY and HORSE RACING both are different issues. Karnataka Government cannot BAN Horse Racing. Supreme Court ORDERS in favour of Horse Racing is already there. So forget that issue.

You further said....News coming in another postponement to 28th November 2017 as they have clubed Trainers petition with BTC. Looks like too many petitions. Just does not help.

You asked following.
1) If you have not seen the link of Karnataka High Court you can check on net if you enter case number. Case came up yesterday hearing postponed to 23rd. Can you tell me did Government send it's lawyer to hear petition.

(2) On 23rd petition to be heard - is government lawyer going to give argument why they should not give license.

...
What the government will do or wont do that is their problem. The Honourable High Court will deal with it appropriately. BTC filed a WRIT OF MANDAMUS. It is one of the prerogative writs in the common law, and is issued by a Higher court to a lower court or to a Minister or a Government Officer compel them to perform their duties mandatory, purely and correctly. Simply put, BTC alleges the State Government and their ministers, officials not performing their duties impartially. It is a serious allegation. So the Government have to reply and that also fast.

Mr.Mad Max as readers of Horse Talk we need to be cordial to each other so if I have offended you my apoligies. My post is below for all to read and I am not sure what have I said wrong. It's very easy for anyone one us us to type a word or phrase in Google get the result and post it here. You have done it many times. Neither you or me are lawyers or have any knowledge of law so it is not right to argue. I'm sure you and I want racing back at Bangalore so till then you and me and others will be writing. I just have two questions to you if you feel like replying.

Why you are playing cheap gimmicks?
Where I said the Court will immediately give orders.
You guys are damn unbelievable, so illiterate, in future I wont give any replies to you. This is the last. Any average citizen knows what is the procedure of the Court. That is applicable to one and all. Without hearing both parties the concerned parties and witnesses no Court will issue Orders in a normal course. However, in certain cases, like the present case, there is no question of issuing a STAY, because I think the Government has not given any Marching Orders in writing to BTC. There were official meetings, verbal discussions, Government is citing CID enquiry and pressurising BTC for 50 membership. So most probably nothing in writing. In this case Court will issue notice to the State Government, then will fix the date for hearings. Since the matter is already in Supreme Court, and SC's verdict is to maintain status quo (continue racing) The Hon'ble High Court can restore racing immediately (within few days), it is their prerogative, but we cannot say within how many days, it all depends how the judge view the case.

For example:
1. Problems in maintaining Horses, job loss of workers and staff etc may be looked seriously by the Court.
2. Two different laws to Two different Clubs in State. Court may question the government why this Kolavari Di?
3. There is a chance the Court may ask the State Government to restore the status quo, till the hearing and orders.

Gopal Rao, there are few others in HT said, BTC got Stay, and racing will start on so and o date. Check their names and address your letters to them. This is wrong number.

N.B:
I am double optimistic BTC will get positive orders from the Court.
