My sincere advice to all new punters is....

1.plz avoid Tote....the payouts are drastically low....When u lose, u lose everything...but when u win (May be once in every 5 races if u r lucky)..they pay u least...even after start of race ..u can see tote rates changing!!!
2.Select only one or two races per day...ur best horses of the day...dont follow anyone's suggestion...Avoid maidens,class 5 and Terms races...and play at bookies only ...not huge amounts plzzzz...keep urself a low target per day...I mind u..A LOW TARGET....U Can't achieve high targets here!!
3.My personal experience....If u lucky to win 2 successive races...DONT EVER BET 3rd one....U WILL DEFINITELY LOSE...

But one thing...Nowadays Bookies arena is like Fish Market everywhere...with full rush...u must hold it hand with money high up ..before time to bet!!

Currently Bookies available at MYSORE, HYD, KOL, MUM, DEL

MINIMUM AMT WOULD BE 500 OR 1000.... Max amount would depend on Bookies interest.......... Maximum number of times, Bookies are almost aware of the Horses that are in 'TRY'... EVEN FLUKES.... So For example... In class 1 race.. If u betting on a meaningless horse, he can accept even a PETI (Lakh)..... But in a Class 5 or Maiden Runs race he may accept max of 2000 or 5000 only if u betting on a 10/1 or greater fluke!!!

Full tax means 20% means u must giv 1200 if u wanna bet 1000.
Some accept half tax.. Means u must pay 1100 if u wanna bet 1000

Place odds are there... Usually we ignore them but they are the most valuable ones though very low... Rates depend whether u r playing a favourite or fluke horse.... Example.. Hot favourite horse.. Mostly u get same amt return after tax.. ForFluke at 10/1.... U can expect 1.5

Dont worry if they change... They pay u the promised amount at odds given to u... Unless theres a withdrawal or nonstarter in the race which is malingering mostly..

Yes.. Odds vary a little bit from bookie to bookie... U must search for highest odds giver to bet...

2. Answer to your Q.5 "Can the bookie odds change during a race"
No Sir "during a race" bookies wont accept bets, so there is no question of changing the odds. Remember, it is doubtful the BTC wont bring back the bookies if their license restored. Reasons are below:

(a) BTC Tote dividends fluctuates during the running of a race, even after two-three minutes of a race. God only knows the trick. In India, this is the only one Club manipulate (I dont not know we can use that word) the Tote even after the races. This is visible to NAKED EYES.

(b) Even There is nothing like that at MyRC Tote, whatever dividends shown on the display at the start of the race (at the time of freezing the tote) is exactly disbursed to the winners.
