By Ayyarnet | 23-Nov-2017

My dear Friends :

The Japan Cup is one of the most prestigious horse races in Japan. With a purse of ¥476 million (about US $5.8 million), the Japan Cup is one of the richest races in the world.[1]
The Japan Cup is an invitational event. During a relatively short history, the race has established itself as an international contest with winners from Japan, North America, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy.

The Japan Racing Association established the Japan Cup as an international invitational race in order for local racehorses to have the opportunity to compete against horses of an international calibre and to promote goodwill within the racing community worldwide.

RDear Rakesh :

Your good intention is good. But Stakes for Japan Cup 5 Million Dollars !
Foreign Horse may not come for a paltry sum offered by our club. Of course if Foreign Horses comes here then there will NO BE SAFE effect. All will try for a win. That will indeed a great joy to witness the winning on merit. Our standard is still very poor in every respects. Foreign Book Makers never offer 40 paise or 60 paise 80 paidse etc., Except for place where betting starts from Even and all favorites starts from 2 to one only ! Foreign Book Makers are well aware that the Punters will come again and in some other Race they can recover their dues so they are boldly giving good odds for any Horse favorite or non favoerite.
Look at the Mumbai Races we do not feel like giving bet at all !

Note : For Bhoom Time Trainer David Hayes has taken along with his horse entire team connected with Bhoom Time including syces to Japan for support and encouragement.

Here our owners of Desert God might not have taken their spouse also. We always get information about Desert God from Major Sir only !!! Trainer Richard Hughes has informed me that Desert God will not be running in England again.

My wish personally is that Indian Invitation Cup every year should be made open to international participation...unlike Derby must welcome all international standard winners to participate....Thus we can visualise our Derby winners fight with legends like ARROGATE,CALIFORNIA CHROME, ENABLE,CHURCHILL,REKINDLING,REDZEL and MARSHA on Indian ground..

How do u think it would be if done?? How would be the competition n enjoyment???
