Years before if the club intended that a JP be carried forward to a later BIG race day would invariably have a Class VB race in the 4th leg [JP]of more than 18 to 22 horses.
This race would wipe out the JP Treble and Tanala of over 85% tickets.In many cases the Jp and Treble would C/F...Well if you call that fixing I agree.You would have such races at least twice a month.Well those days the tote was manual and computers never existed so you well imagine the process of disbursing winning tickets.
Yes i agree there will be one or two gamble races in a days card.There are races where the 1st and 2nd favs trainers connive with each other.
Well racing is big easy money business. The underhand dealings will never come out in any book form even if the most honest trainer was to pen down an honest autobiography or memoirs of himself

Our clubs do fix certain races periodically to filter the Jackpot tickets. It is a fact bo one can deny. We have witnessed thousands of cases like this.

My views:
1. Angels Touch was best horse in that field, no doubt about it. It ran in Fillies Trial races twice and also in a Million race.
2. Thought the 3 three year olds (Angels Touch (Excellent Art-Lady Moura) - Cool Eyes (Multidimensional-Cool Mover)- Masquerade (Stormy River-Fabulous Day) were having good chances, hence they will fight each other for the supremacy, because it was a Class-IV race.
3. However, I have doubts about the integrity of the trainers on favourites - S.Ganapathy, Aravind Ganapathy, Karthik Ganapathy - they rarely win on favourites.

Mumbai Race results - Last race (last five race days)
19/11/17 - Last race, Favourite LILAC TIME Lost, Moon Shine won at 3-1/4
24/11/17 - Last race, Night Odds/Opening Odds Favourite Alfonso lost, Odds of Dragonmoss came down and became race time favourite and won.
26/11/17 - Last race, Favourite Ame withdrawn, Race Time favourite SIA Lost, Royal Blood won at 7-1/2
30/11/17 - Last race, Royal Classic won at 12/1, favourite WILSHIRE lost.
03/12/17 - Last race, Favourite Angels Touch (Evens) lost, and won King of Killen 10/1
So, I was certain ANGELS TOUCH WAS GOING TO LOSE. My personal fancy was Masquerade. But I have not played any horses in this race.

From what i saw on the replay i was convinced that Amit persisted even after Trevor went past him and Trevor did not ease Angel Touch Up.Thats what i feel.The way Amit kept putting in his best till the very end was impressive to say the least.

This outrage happens.
When Prakash won a closely fought race with Malesh they all said the same. (He won 5 races as an apprentice in one day). Only there was no E media.
Just appreciate the ride by the newcomer.....

In his Patel community there is a saying - Chamdi Jave dhumbdi na thi jave - meaning if skin goes no problem but penny should not go out of your pocket. He is accepting all sorts of mounts and invite the wrath of the public. Even though he must be having reasonably sufficient funds with him still he is accepting mounts for a paltry riding fees from all trainers. By embracing losers he will find it difficult to become a winner again. Leaving Suleiman Attoullah stable will be a suicidal attempt for him.
In Australia out of 25 rides he got he just managed to win a single race. Even the Lady Jockeys there Emma and Ruby rode better than him and gained more winners. Sincerity and honesty should be there mere loyalty alone does not count Money can be earned any time but once you lose your name it is very very difficult to gain it back. There is no need for him to accept all sorts of mounts from all trainers and spoil his health and name. It is time that he stop dancing at the tunes of trainers.
It is time that he accept mounts with fair chances of winning and make a sincere attempt to win the race and also win the hearts of the public. Many jockeys are cooling their heels at home due to public wrath and curse only. He may or may not read our posting but if any of his well wishers guide him it will be good for him.

trevor patel has hooked the horse so bad ... i dont comment normally but he had a cheeky smile in the paddock with karthik after the race , its a shame , there are these camps that make and break races and especially pesi shroff and camp , rwitc will never take action, its the punter who is critically damaged not anyone else , no doubt he may be a good jockey but his intentions and his attitude is cruel , he is a devil in disguise , racing is not what its use to be , its a sham with syndicates controlling it and sucking the punters blood .

For all of you here defending Trevor's ride, pls look at his effort in the last 300 mts. Watch it twice. Then watch any of his previous wins where he has had to work hard for the win.. You should get your answer.

After the race, ANGELS TOUCH, SMOKEY ROSES and COOL EYES (examined on 04/12/2017) were trotted and found to be sound. ANGELS TOUCH had a clip injury on the left hind cannon and had lost its left hind shoe.
......Well these are no reasons for this horse to lose .Many have won with far worser conditions

King of killen was 18 past runs but it was placed 12 times placed ,2and,3rd,and 4th it runs 1400mt,1600and 2400mt finished with 3rd so better horse wins .

Just watched the race, and have just one point to make.
If he had to lose, why would he try all throughout the race to go up front, trying all along to hit the winning post first? Wouldn't it have been easy enough for him to get himself blocked anywhere, he had so many chances to do that. I just feel the better horse won. Mind you, I'm not a huge fan of cry baby Trevor, but this is my honest opinion.

The newly retained jockey Trevor Patel by Shapoor Mistry repaid them by his excellent ride on Angels Touch.!!
He kept Yanna Rascala 10 lengths behind at the bend in a 1200 mts sprint. Best possible position!!
He got away on both his rides without any enquiry. by the stewards!
We are cursing GST , but what about this type of robbery? . Is racing is just about fooling the punters who have no say or control in the running of races?

Right you are...its a robbery in broad day-light.trevor overtook king of killen went ahead then sliped back. Racing is not a sport now. No one is there to look into the matter of ill practices.this can't happen without indulgence of stewards. All the clubs are involve in this.now the time has come to bann this sport in our country. who is telling to fix high priced odds.keep odds all on on money and let the race be fair. this has become a center of making the bookies rich stealing public money.this nasty practice should be stopped.

The race itself was a cooked up one,
Not only Trevor,
Even Dasrath singh-Showed his intentions at the gate & his Antics all thro the race,Preventing Neeraj rawal from getting a favourable position & doing his job perfectly suiting the bookies/connections and giving COOL EYES A DISMAL RUN.

Sir no doubt that angels touch has seen good company in the likes of themis, manifold but you see the lat run in Mumbai, the handicap was 55kgs in class 1V, that was a good indication that it was a below par animal the handicapper just increased 4kgs and with Blk on the animal is below par so please don't come into unnecessary conclusion that the jockey hooked the horse with the usual cliche its a broad daylight robbery. Please do your home work before betting a horse and kindly stop this nonsense
