@Mad Max,
Since you explained where we can find Weight Raise on HRC web site,I presume you have seen my earlier post.As I explained there look at Handicap and Rating at Handicap Stage to get the Weight Raised info at Handicap stage. As 60KG is the Minimum Stipulated Top Weight the horse first entered irrespective of its rating is allotted 60KG.For no weight raise its rating should be BR plus 20 at HRC.Hope I am clear.
In my earlier post I missed out your observation that LIL rating is still 91 though it clocked two wins after Derby run.In both races it did not warrant raising of its rating based on the Ratings of Placed horses and the Distances separating them.Inspite of this it was given a raise of 5 points each being Classics races. This in no way ups Rating of Prevalent Force.

See Weight raised at Declaration stage

www.hydraces.com
Top Bar "Downloads"
"Racing Files" Click on this link to see following Archive Page.

www.hydraces.com/downloads_racingfiles.php

Click on "Declaration" download arrow and view Entire Declaration on that day along with Weight raised details of each and every races.

On 6th November, only one race was weight raised.. Race No.13. Dynamite was in Race No.12. No weight raised in this race. How find it..? Just check the TOP BOTTOM Scale published under the bottom of each races in race card. In this race top weight was 60 Kg Big Heart, and Bottom Weight was 54.5 kg Seven Eleven. Here Top weighted Big Heart accepted to run, hence there need any weight raise. In Race No. 13, Astra was the top weighted horse at Handicap stage with 60 Kg that horse withdrawn at the acceptance stage, hence nearest horse below Astra was Akashwani with 56.5 Kg, hence the weight raised by 3.5 kg at the acceptance stage to make the top weight 60Kg. I hope you noted.

@ Mad Max,
Thanks for your interest in my post.In a Classics Race at Hyderabad you will find outstation horses from Lower Handicap Races beating high rated horses. This race is an exception in the sense that Prevalent Force is indeed too superior in the bunch and outstation horses are not very brilliant.
Coming to your queries. As you know HRC does not have the practice of mentioning Weight Raise which I could not see but can you tell me where I have to look at HRC web site.Destined Dynamite race is 1.5KG weight raise because it was rated 56 and carried 58.5KG and if we add 17 to 42 it is 59 ie if it is not a Weight Raise race it should carry 57KG only. This is what is noted by RWITC as Weight Raised at Handicap Stage. At Acceptance stage it is visible at Handicap Stage we have to compute.
The importance of Bottom Rating in Classics Race I may not be able to explain properly but suffice it to say the Weight on the Back of the horse being same 57KG if it is running in 40-65 Class we say its rating is 54 but in 60-85 race we say is 74.So if LIL ran carrying 54.5KG in Derby with a Rating of 81 then we can classify this race as one with BR of 72 ie (81-9).Suppose there is a horse which can clock better time than this horse on the same day with same pace of race carrying same weight can we upgrade to this Rating may be not.But in Classics all carry same weight so horses which ran in Lower Classes can they upset possibly yes.The Mental Block we get is how can a horse rated say 60 can Win against a horse rated 90 at level weight. To asses its chances I multiply the difference in Bottom Ratings by 0.7 and add to the Rating.
The basis for factor 0.7 can be seen when we study the Weights Allocation in Terms Races with horse participating with one Win etc against Maidens. The Class Range being 20 and Minimum Penalty of 3KG with all 4 horses in Photo finish.
Thanks.

@ Sun

Always I read your comments, but I am unable to grasp the essence of your way of handicapping, say, the finer points.

For example - BR, bottom rating, what is this?

You said ..... Destined Dynamite 65 from 39. It ran in 42-62 Race with 1.5KG Weight Raised.

My query: Ok it ran in 42-62 class, but there was no 1.5 kg raise..? I checked the Declaration Page (Hydraces.com>downloads>Racing Files>Declaration of 6th November 2017 > Race No. 12. They have not mentioned any weight raise in that race. Official Weight Scale T/B was 60-54.5 Kg.

However, on same day, R.No. 13, it was clearly mentioned 3.5 kg was raised. So there is a confusion, how you got BR 39 on Destined Dynamite or Prevalent Force's BR 72...?

Now coming back to Terms Races.. like Guineas, where SAME SEX horses are running, all horses are carrying same weight, so I do not understand 'the effect' of BR..? I think I need to learn a lot from you in this aspect.

Now coming back to your selection DESTINED DYNAMITE and with due respect I need to bring these lines to Indian_Truf_Record for some clarification..please... if you are reading this?

1. Destined Dynamite's Color, sex, age is mentioned in Race Card as "gr r 3". It means he is a RIG. A RIG is a male horse that is carrying either one or two testicles concealed in its abdomen, making it visually appear to be a gelding, while behaving like a stallion. These horses are medically described as a cryptorchid, literally meaning hidden testicle. They say a RIG behave like a stallion, but I dont know whether any RIG sired a progeny anywhere? especially Here I seek Mr. ITR's help please? I am unable to recall a situation where a Rig helped a mare to produce a foal.

2. In classic races I prefer Fillies or Colts to win at majority of times say 95%, a rig or a gelding wins the classic rarely. Hence I ignore Destined Dynamite.

4. My Choice is simply PREVALENT FORCE to win this race, just as a formality, for which I take the line of LADY IN LACE.

5. After the Hyderabad Derby (Prize Money 59+ Lakhs) where Prevalent Force (Rating 80) beaten Lady In Lace (Rating 81) by 2-1/4 lengths in testing conditions. After that Derby PF gone in rating to 90, and there was no change for LIL remained 81. Before the Derby LIL was 1 point ahead officially.

6. An important thing to remember is Prevalent Force is still rated 90, Since then Prevalent Force well rested, coming fresh now. Whereas LADY IN LACE after winning an INFERIOR PUNE DERBY (37+ Lakhs prize) and 1000 HYD GUINEAS (25+ Lakhs) now reached rating 91, i.e. at the same level - 1 point ahead of PF officially.

7. How can PREVALENT FORCE lose this race? If it is SICK or BROKEN since the Derby (Who knows inside matters) then it can lose this race. Otherwise, I find no threat from any quarter, be it Big Heart or Destined Dynmite or Spot Light or Zelus !

8. In this race there is a maiden called STANDOUT, not yet rated because not completed 3 runs. However it cannot be go up beyond the ratings of Automatic (39) and Aeisir (41) at any cost.

9. Spot Light's present rating is only 46. And S.Ganapathy cannot do a PESI ACT, later is expert in winning classics with lesser rated animals.

Thank you Sir !

@Mad Max,
Recall our discussion on Ratings normalization across the participants in a Classics race.Tomorrow in 2000G it does not require much analysis to say that Prevalent Force the highest rated horse has best credentials to Win the Race. Now we find Official Ratings range from 90 to 37(Standout) which is coming from Maidens Race. Now to put them on a common datum we have to take into account the Bottom Ratings of the Race corresponding to Official Rating.
Prevalent Force 90 from BR 72
Destined Dynamite 65 from 39.It ran in 42-62 Race with 1.5KG Weight Raise
Big Heart 59 from 42
Dream Catcher 59 from 26
Tootsie Roll 56 from 38
Now when I plot using a Factor of 0.7 to normalize with my computed Ratings and a factor of 0.505 for horses jumping 2 classes ie BR 26 I find the Ranking as
Destined Dynamite
Prevalent Force
Dream Catcher
My choice is Destined Dynamite
Thanks.
