Dear MM,
Understand your feelings, considering the vitriolic comments directed at you without any basis by certain elements whose racing knowledge is elementary in comparison.I hope Dharmesh, Raj, and quite a few here can post their evaluation of a few selected races. It is my observation these exercises help in bringing forth critical information that one may have missed in their own evaluation. For example, your observation regarding Phenomal Cruise and So far was a good observation in Dharmesh's selections, which surely must have taken into consideration by others too in their final wagering.
Must also add Dharmesh's reading of a race is excellent as also yours.

Let others to open such a thread for discussion I would also participate. There are four or five 'Mani Shankar' type people who take 'names' to criticize. As long as so called experts are enjoying their ride in HT it is useless to venture out, especially for illiterate like me.

I just want to write something about So Far. Incidentally it is your first choice. Its last race on 09/1017 recorded the highest penetrometer reading 5.56 (Races 184 to 192. For the rest of the Monsoon season from 193 until 229, so many horses won which were ran on 9/10 in races 184-192. I thought that the Penetrometer reading was the highest and adjusted the timing accordingly to get few winners till closing the season.
Surprisingly from this winter, horses ran on 9/10 are heavily fancied and losing poorly as hot favourites. There are so many examples. So I caution you about So Far. HANDSOME BOY also ran on that day in R.No.185 - A Class IV open Class for 3 years old and up over 1400m. So far ran same day in R.No.190 for 3 year olds only. Both were Handicap races. If you want to classify these two races, which one you will give better in class? Noe Heaven Can Wait is knocking the door for quite some time. For me SO FAR is a strict NO because of the above reasons.

Please never assume the odds of hyd, mad, delhi, and even kolkotta. Even if you get from relaible source also will became false. Take the example today 2race no. 7 RAHIL given 10/1 by you. but the odds are differrent.

1.10 #6 PAPRIKA led for a long time when resuming only to be swamped late. Drops slightly in distance and might be tougher to catch. She has never lost at this trip.
1.40 A weak Maiden, watch the market.
#4 PALSY WALSY looked good in his latest jump out and the stable has good strike rate this season with two year old race. The colt looks ready to go.
2.10 #4 CHAMPION BULL was touch disappointing when favourite here last start which was his first run after being gelded. Well drawn and deserves another chance back from a spell.
2.45 #6 VALLEE SCEPTRE chasing back to back wins after a strong victory over short scurry last start. Up in grade but being the only 3yo in the field keeps her right in play.
3.15 #8 PHENOMENAL CRUISE s an improving type who won impressively against his own age group last start on the back of a maiden win. Capable of taking another step up the ladder.
3.45 #3 SO FAR resumes and has been nicely prepared. Beaten just over a couple of lengths last start in mansoon. That's good enough for this ordinary Set.
4.15 The Mansoon Derby winner #4 PREVELENT FORCE looks formidable here.
#9 ZELUS should place with Sandesh in saddle.
4.45 #4 JAYIN covered ground well to run into placing last start. Extra distance ideal and gets chance to earn his maiden bracket.
Days Best : PAPRIKA
Keep an eye on following horses, place looks good and may upset.

6-5 TURF LEGEND is knocking at the doors and can shed his maiden tag in this ordinary set.

4-6 VALLEE SCEPTRE - Only 3yr old and won well charging in the last 100m over 5 furlong, extra distance will suit.
5-3 ETERNAL ANGEL - 4th in 1000 guineas to Lady in Lace, quite consistent. Has to beat Prince Caspian.

I am taking some chance to pick some outside horse. For that some times I consider Astrology, Numerology and some matching technique. I know PREVALENT FORCE is class above in that field. If by chance this horse lost to any other horse, after the race you forget all the merits of PREVALENT FORCE. Now a days after 28% GST your return is nothing. It is better to look for rank outsiders.
