Salute Akshay Kumar

By Pradeep | 12-Dec-2017

Dear All,

It's known fact that the horse runs & rider is upto 5% to 10%(Max) in it's victory. Still I for one can't stop praising Akshay Kumar for six brilliant wins in two days. Barring Paparika( easy start to finish run) rest all rides were a treat to watch for his breathtaking finishes. It was a lesson to the BIG Named jockeys( especially the CRY BABY rider of Mumbai) riding ready made horses.

It's also important that he's not riding for Big owners & still master rides on horses giving good odds also.Keep it up Akshay & you are sure to be Champion jockey of the season.

Hello SSPP

Welcome back indeed a pleasant surprise to view your posting.

Regarding Akshaya Kumar I would like toi give my opinion that these are all tricks of the trade. They promote Jockeys by giving more winners so that people get addicted towards a particular jockey and then once the jocket gets stabilised then ask him to pull the Horse as per their own desire and plan. As many of our friends posted here we have seen many jockeys willning consequtively and then drop when most expected or backed. Senior punters of course knows this plan very well and they may not get seduced by these unstable stunt. But new comers and people who are new to the racing will be more affected people..

We must have certain ethics that fixing maximum mounts that can be given to a Jockey in a Race day. Trainer should not be allowed to put more than one Horse or at the most only two horses in a race. So many jockeys are remaining idle without getting mounts. Club or Jockey Clud is not taking interest and remain as a silent spectator.

Horse racing lost its glory. Nowadays races are set up by Some People and they engage a 'certain' jockey for the day. Racing glory can only be returned if the winners are shared by different jockeys from a pool of twenty participating every day. Last Sunday Akshay Kumar got 4 winners, Bopanna 2, Danis Ferguson 1, Nakkhat 1. If a particular jockey is scoring 3 or 4 winners a daily, then such races are fixed.

Look at Monday Hyd races, 8 races shared by 7 jockeys. Racing should be like this. I wont advocate races are shared by two or three leading jockeys. Riding is a profession and all jockeys should get benefited. In India 90% of jockeys are deprived off winners this is very sad situation. Retained jockeys should only ride for the retainers' horses. They should not be allowed on other trainers/owners horses.

Hundreds of Akshya Kuumars have come and gone in Indian Racing. Of course, his stars are shining bright and, therefore, he is able to strike it rich. Punters must also make use of the golden opportunity. But you really don't know when he is going to turn a disaster for the punting community. We have seen enough of it in the past with several up-and-coming jockeys, who used to promise a lot but end up a damp squib. After all, it's horse racing and don't blow it out of proportions please. A day may come that I will get read on this same forum people accusing Akshay of pulling and disappointing punters. Till such time it's okay.

Yes u r correct we always run behind the big name like surah Trevor srinath neeraj but never observe the performance of this master class in hyderabad always ....I think if we follow only his horses in hyderabad and madras we will never be in loss in end of the day.. he is having tremendous judgment and confident in himself while riding in hyderabad.. kudos to akshay kumar..
