By Aravind | 16-Dec-2017Congratulations to Prasad Raju and team for this splendid achievement.Lady In Lace ridden wonderfully by Suraj.but at same time I m little bit worried about her further classics. She would be facing tough competition from Castlebridge, Windsor forest and of course from Manifold also.

19-Dec-2017windsor forest and lady cannot win beyond 2000 mts.......same with castle bridge.....but castle bridge front running style is advantageous for him a la in the spotlight.....i dont think that anyother runner will come into picture at this juncture.....the indian derby is going to be between castle bridge and prevelent force
Thanks

19-Dec-20172 months back you were on high.giving winners from 4s to 6s [any one can give odds on one] that too as much as 4to 6 times this was no fluke but based on your study. Even I made money on those. So what has happened suddenly?
Please do not get involved in non racing issues or debates after races. It seems to distract you.
Please stop giving lay bets we are not bookies Ptr is just a game and so many quit including Dharmesh. My ptr also does not reflect my true betting. So no big deal.No one has made reference to it at all
I think most here want the old MAD MAX BACK. This is for you to decide your future course which will help you now that BNG racing is on the horizon
best of Luck and positive thinking forget the past what some one wrote about you

18-Dec-2017Yes of course, I have not had winner on that particular day? Do you know what was special on that day. That was the day my quitting as a tipster. How foolish you people think I wronged in PTR and made exit. I saved you all by quitting with a wrong one. In a free contest aisa nahin chaltha bhai, treat all equal, NO DRESSING DOWN acceptable. When I was success you people criticized my selections, articles, comments and replies, now you bear this brunt also... I will continue in Horse Talk as a bold critic from here on. I wont spare anyone?

17-Dec-2017Yes you said yesterday Mistry purchased a share of LIL for a BIG RANSOM....do you know what is the meaning of RANSOM...? Ransom is the amount paid for the release of someone from the Captivity. So you say LiL was in captivity and Mistrys paid for it. You said Vivek Commented high about LIL but tipped Ruffina, and Mad Max also picked first Ruffina, so what, why offend others.
Before the race I picked WINDSOR FOREST (15/1) and said she is the JOKER IN THE PACK. What you said after the race is ....."How ever to me the most impressive run was Windsor forest .Long lay off only a mock race, got checked at 150 mtrs by jockey due to a wall in front of him, was full of running the fastest...". Do you want credit for that WF's run...?

17-Dec-2017Now see its run lying dead last came flying to win
How ever to me the most impressive run was Windsor forest .Long lay off only a mock race, got checked at 150 mtrs by jockey due to a wall in front of him, was full of running the fastest. She will be heard of soon.
The credit goes to North based breeders and trainer Raju for the pink condition of this filly.
Hats off to Shapoor ji and company for seeing the real potential of the filly.

17-Dec-2017It’s was SMistry involvement crowned LIL 1000G . He has invested in a filly to get breeding value.
Seeing one Indian classics in mind he did it . He has all around 200 hrs running in the country in his colours. Do you think he will be excited in one LIL ? Do you think Mr TOdiwalla will go against him if he is trying . Ruffian connection has getting der best classic hrs from Manjari only . They have a long term relationship with Manjari. The 40 paisa fav two year old which ran yesterday also from same connections and from Manjari stud . So it was game set for LIL . WF run a covering race to LIL if anyone would have been turned up unexpectedly in the race she would have finished the Race ahead of LIL. WF is going to win some more classics not in Mumbai , but for LIL major classics are over . They achieved what they wanted
Keep one more thing in mind .. always the biggest stake money will take away from racing by the biggest stakeholders of racing . That’s how the circle work

16-Dec-2017But all the three years old of this season are average horses none of them too good. I mean they are not like Alainder, Be safe, In the spotlight, Muroi or Mystical.

16-Dec-2017First Mistrys' Ice Dancer set a merry pace up front, forcing other prominent contenders Manifold and Ruffina to set off in pursuit. All this while, LIL was content to have an easy time at the tail-end of the field, which is her wont.
However, the real surprise lay in store in the long Mahalaxmi straight. Mistrys' third arrow in the quiver Windsor Forest was full of running and friend Trevor was called upon to play his crucial role.
Please watch the video carefully - in the straight. First see the horses in the normal side-ways view. Then see the front camera view and what you will see is WF weaving in and then out - for no reason at all. WF travelled about 1.5 to 2 lengths more than LIL. First Trevor goes inside, then he lets LIL go ahead, then breaks WF's stride and then comes with a flourish on the outside to finish a close second!
It seems clear that Trevor's instructions were to win the race and in case he found LIL come charging then he was to let her win, which he duly did. If this was Australian racing then perhaps the stewards would have disqualified him from racing for a long period for 'not making sufficient effort on his mount'. Remember F Dettori who was handed a hefty fine for his riding in Melbourne Cup last year - for exactly kind of offence but perhaps not so blatant as Trevor's.
Why the above drama? Why not let the better horse win? My theory is that the people who took the decision to buy a stake in LIL for an undisclosed, but surely hefty, sum had to justify their decision - to the owners at least. And so LIL was made to win.
WF will fare better over longer distances, which will make her a formidable contender in the coming classics. I cannot see her getting beat in the Oaks. However, the Derby is another matter altogether. There will be the colts duo to contend with -Castlebridge and Prevalant Force.
P.S. - Do comment please, but after watching the video replay a few times.

16-Dec-2017I feel sorry about some critical comments I get to read in HT on the splendid win of Lady of Lace in the 1000 Guineas. Suraj Narredu once again proved he is the best available rider in India today.
If you are going to judge the real ability of Lady of Lace from the manner in which it won today, you are thoroughly mistaken. There are many who think Windsor Forest would have won but for another 10 mts. That's is a poor judgment and I'm sorry to state here that it's such ill-gotten judgments that has been ruining the careers of a majority of punters.
Lady of Lace can run from any position and still win in any distance. We are going to see that in the coming classics.
The cameraman played havoc covering the Classic race (please see the video) and for me it appeared like I am watching a Gymkhana. But for the commentator's supporting role, the race was reduced to nothing through very poor visual coverage.

@Aravind
She wasn't even stretched today, you can also watch the video 20 times like others I am convinced just watching the race once. But they must change the rider for the further big events.

16-Dec-2017Verdict maybe a neck.but victory was easier as the jockey was confident and discount the menacing run of windsor forest all r same family. No waterloo for Lady in lace till it completes the indian derby and invitation. She will easily tackle castle bridge. Now all can discard manifold.ruffina caprisca etc.
Congrats prasad raju u remind me the horse Bonzer.
