I fail to understand as to how Hyderabad Race Club can offer such high stake money for ordinary races where as all other Turf Clubs/ Race Clubs of the country can offer only pittance. I would term this state as a yard stick for the success and better management on the part of HRC as against all other Turf/Race Clubs of the Country. To get an idea in this respect just go through the Race card of HRC for 31 Dec 17 and see the acceptors for 2 year old runners, see their numbers and the stake money being offered and that also for two divisions. Isn't it very strange, how can the owners survive in other centres??? Incidentally I am also a small time owner and this does matter in buying better live stock and their upkeep. Can any of the friends throw some light in this respect.
