Sorry, I totally differ with both 'Win Legend' and 'Satyanarayana'.

Why so because it's not the length of the card that actually matters, but how you play the given card. I say with this past experience (although I have given up racing since 2014) when the order of the day used to be not even 7 races but some times even a six-race-card. Believe me, many punters used to clear such short cards and go home happily, be it eve of Diwali, New Year or Independence Day.

What is the purpose of preparing a 10-race card and make punters run from pillar to post by producing many upsets? When the no. of races are less, you always stand a better chance to win, i.e., come out with some plus.

I don't know what happened to you yesterday, but except for the stunning upset in the first race (many intelligent HTians had cautioned against playing the pipping hot favourite in that race in these columns), I think it was reasonably good.
