HATS OFF to the new commite and Chairman they managed to get the licence without giving 50 memberships.
Chairman Harimohan and his team proved to the old commite which was useless that they ran away before their term was over.
The bunch of old stewards gave a letter promising to give 50 seats to the govt.
now they got the licence from the court without even giving One seat.
The old commite is not sighted in the race course from three months.
The CID is after them.lot of corruption was going on then.

All said and done... it's the members who have to be congratulated... for not yielding to the pressure of the famous 9 and their advisers who wanted to sell of the club to the rotten politicians for their own personal gains.. now we got to get the enquiry committee in to action Sir.

Yes. People yet to realise that betting for win/place is totally a losing proposition. God save you if you are betting on favorite.
Anyway everything is not lost. You can bet on forecast, trinella. These two pools still give modest income if your betting range is low. Around 400-500. However, if your betting range is in 1000s & 10000s & more it is extremely difficult to be in plus.
With GST, the BNG tote payment has many times fallen below that of Mumbai. For our great leaders at Delhi, punters are not human beings.
4 months lock out at BTC. Unbelievable but true.

4 months and one week of closure.the losses are quite a bit.
Please remember at the end of day it is the punter who will end up paying.
I fail t o see how they are going to make up such losses unless GST is reduced .
BTC must understand racing is in full swing all over.Any attempt at short cuts will ensure reduced patronage other than bng'ians who have no alternative

Mr Anil, this committee also gave promise of 50 seats but failed to honour them. What is the achievement of the present committee? Three months of no racing, loss of more than Rs 20 crores to the club and scores of people put to great hardship. What sort of achievement are you talking about Mr Anil? The BTC has been put in its place and made to crawl. It is only non-racing members who did not bother about the problem. Any well-meaning chairman would have worked towards a compromise and solved the problem long ago or quit instead of sticking to the chair and causing so much of hardship to everyone.

Great relief.
But Mysore trains and buses may still run to full capacity. There are no bookies at Bangalore. Tote punters who were helplessly waiting for the past 4 months are really benefited.

The govt is on the back-foot due to many reasons but do not take this in a lighter sense as scenario may change .The quantum of people dependent on this industry and the present economic situation led to a favorable decision for the club and not that the govt get bent by the new committee. Kindly refrain from using this platform for such sensitive topics.
