CLARIFICATION : When the Derby field is comprising of less than eight runners ( As in the case of Kolkata Derby), the 10000 place on `C` is added to `A`(5000) and `B` (5000).
Hence place bet on `A` and `B` becomes 15000 each.

Dear Mr Sagar,
Happy New Year to you too.
If you notice there are only 6 runners in the Kolkata Derby.
Therefore, there would be no dividend payable on the third placed horse.
In that case, why don't you consider as a special case, that the 10000 PLACE ON `C` is added to the 10000 PLACE ON `B`...that is 20000 on Place B?
