Thank you gentlemen for the invite.
Here are my thoughts on the proposed new simple contest(no great shakes)...which may be vetted if needed, and confirmed asap.
RULES for a NEW Contest..'POT OF GOLD'

CONTESTANTS to...
*Nominate 2 horses for WIN from any 2 legs of the Jackpot Pool ONLY.
(2nd JP pool legs to be considered if there are more than one JP)
*Notional Bet value @ 10,000 pts each
*Local tote dividends applicable for WIN or SHP.(No Place dividend)
*Postings will be accepted till the start of the first race.
* No Cancellation or substitution for 'WITHDRAWALS'
*Applicable to ALL centres excepting DELHI & CHENNAI.
*No restriction in participation or minimum number of days to fulfill.
*Period:28th Jan'18 to 28th Feb'18

(MM ...you are one among the best in Data Warehousing a la Rakesh,Santosh)

(In which case, the under-mentioned format may be suitably modified)

I was deeply involved in my professional activities over the past few days and hence could not respond earlier. Sorry about that.

Dear MM and BKD,
I am quite sure yourself and BKD will be able to design and execute a very good contest,which will have a good response and participation from all serious TIPSTERS. I would like to give a few suggestions,which if worthwhile ,can be considered in the new contest.
The contest should be so designed to bring out the best from all tipsters,and the winner should be the one having nominated the maximum number of WINNERS,similar to deciding the champion Trainer/Jockey.
Only 2 races of each center allowed for nominating the WINNER/ PLACE.
No restriction on ODDS considering the wild fluctuations in ODDS during race time.(Or nominating EVEN and less odds not to be considered.)
The posting should be done at least 1/2 an hour before the first race. A short note for reasons for their nominations to be given,if possible but not mandatory.
The above rules will ensure that there are no lucky winners like the preceding one,but really talented and consistent ones will frame the board in a manner of speaking.(Sorry, how the racing bug gets into your system !).

Appreciating your thought of new challenge for all tipsters. Well conducted with great precision. My self busy with my family throught two weeks due to which
myself absent. At present posting only in MUM PTR after missing two continues race days. Keep on rocking with new contests.

If you can help in finalizing the rules incorporating MY VIEWS ALSO I am ready.
1. Our contest should be unique, do not copy other contest rules.
2. You may have noted initially few PTR members were in SRT contest, suddenly they stopped posting, completely boycotted. So we do not irritate them.
3. Our contest should not be for all. We will invite 30 tipsters from Horse Talk. You can recommend names.
4. No one can tip favourites. All are required to select a horse with fair odds, say 4/1 and above.
5. Contestant can 2 bets out of WIN, SHP and THP. Place bet should not be allowed.
6. No bets allowed if the runners are less than 5 or 6.
The above are my suggestions, rest you can decide.

My God ! That was a mistake from my part.
May be that is the reason JAIHIND kept silent.
His points remain 50,620 only and he will keep Rank-2 as published.
i am extremely thankful to CRK for pointing it out.
Explanation.
Jaihind started with 110620
Played total 50000 points on 1-2 Aalishan (Hyderabad) and lost.
Played total 10000 points on 8-2 Artus (Mumbai) again lost.
Total Loss: 60,000
Balance in his account: 50,620
Less: Loan 22830

His Net Points: 27,790
Thus CRK with 39,570 points elevated to 2nd Rank.

since selfie star placed, it was obviously tipped for place only. Had he won or second, the tip would have been changed. AFter all, not everyone has the option of betting after the white con.
