In the 1000 Guineas, whole world fancied Lady In Lace and the tote paid Rs. 21 and paid. I fancied 15/1 Windsor Forest to upset the race, and above all my Derby fancy Manifold was also running in the race.

Now I have in SRT Contest SRT have shown the racegoers the best betting Ratio if your horse is less fancied... that is 35% win 15% SHP, and 50% place.

Now come and calculate who won on that day. My horse Windsor Forest lost by a NECK to stable mate Lady In Lace. And we all have seen the riding of Trevor on WF and discussed and debated on it. That is not the point here. How much you earned on Lady In Lace and how my I earned on Windsor Forest.

Investment 10000 = 1000 tickets on 35:15:50 basis on Lady in Lace paid following amount.
Win: 350 Tickets @ 21 = 7350/-
Shp: 150 Tickets @ Nil
Place: 50 Tickets @ 11/- = 5,500
Total = 12,850/-
Gross Profit minus Investment is profit : 12850 -10000 = 2850 only.

Investment 10000 = 1000 tickets on 35:15:50 basis on WINDSOR FOREST paid following amount.
Win: 350 Tickets @ Nil
Shp: 150 Tickets @ 76 = 11,400/-
Place: 50 Tickets @ 15/- = 7500/-
Total = 18,900/-
Gross Profit minus Investment is profit : 18900 -10000 = 8900 only.

Now tell me who is Clever ?
I never fancied LIL over a mile trip. That is the reason I wronged in Pune Derby where LIL won. I still make the Bold Statement LIL wont stay 2400m.

LIL mock race was very poor. She seems to have got over her lung problem but she is definitely not too sound. She changed her legs 3 times in the straight. She’s under a cloud.

Do you remember what you said about Lady in Lace and Manifold after the THE DECCAN FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP STAKES. Entire brigade of Horse Talkers supported half money favourite MANIFOLD to win that race. I TIPPED LADY IN LACE AS MY BANKER IN THAT RACE and proved all Horse Talkers wrong. Even after so called you people did not spare me or the trainer of Manifold. All were not ready to give the deserved credit to LADY IN LACE and her team. If you do not remember what you said about MANIFOLD and PESI SHROFF, I will reproduce it for readers to recognize how people change their colours.

Havent you understood the trainers intentions and antiques by now? Manifold was probably taken to Hyderabad three to four days before the race for what? To lose, obviously. Why was she taken there and ran at 45 paisa odds? Why couldnt she just run the Gool Poonawala Million in Pune and then the Pune derby. She may not have taken the travel well and her work ended there much before the race, but all this was intentional.

Why was Germanicus taken to Hyderabad after running a hard race and losing to Columbiana in Pune? To lose. he lost as a hot favourite. Germanicus belongs to the same connections.

This so-called champion trainer has been playing these dirty games for the past couple of years now. See the ding dong with Mathaiyus and Captain Morgan.When they run together, every alternate time the horse with the higher odds wins. Why?

Recently Adam and Denny Crane in Hyderabad. The horse with the higher odds won. In the past, The Unicorn and Mertylewood. Mrs. Patmore and Temerity in 1000 Guineas and Oaks. Temerity could have won the Indian Derby but the same connections were keen on Serjeant at Arms, who unfortunately did not stay, gifting away the Derby to Hall of Famer, who run like a duddess in the Invitation and subsequently.

Watch what will happen between Mathaiyus and Temerity now in Pune in the St. Legers?

Fact is, this blatant daylight robbery is being committed by the culprits for the past many months now, but because of their high profile owners and connections, there is no inquiry or action initiated.

For those who think LIL is better horse than Manifold i pitty on them, it was clearly hooked the horse has never run start to finish, next time when Manifold runs it will hack the field, my advice to all never touch On-money favs in Hyderabad,Mysore,Kolkata these centers r controlled by bookie.

something strange went down in the race yesterday:

manifold was made to run from the front when she usually comes from the back.

the jockey may contend that the nobody wanted to go to the front so he set his own pace and was gallantly defeated.(due respect to lady in lace)

did he do so under instructions or was it extemporary?

why was the all conquering horse entered at this center and not pune - were they scared or did they know something was amiss with her or plain oversight??

why were the bookies eating and inflating the price wholeheartedly - did they know something we didn't??? all these questions has to be answered and needs to be addressed by pesi, ameeta mehra and neeraj as this was a dubious race. in all foreign racing there are pre and post race interviews where trainer, owner and jockeys are asked to explain their actions, give pre race positioning of their wards and follow instructions - any deviation needs and explanation. its time india follows suit as no transparency will always attract controversy.
accepted neeraj made an error in judgement, maybe the reliable pesi also misjudged the entry; lil was too good and poor ameeta mehra was a mute spectator but crores of punters money was wasted and that needs and explanation!!! a few words on the race by those concerned would placate all and restore faith, parity to the minds of the beleaguered punter.

L.I.L won in default as Manifold was totally unfit for a graded race.
You are right never has this filly in her entire racing career gone to the front right from the word go. it is sad to see this owner who does not bet a penny fall to tricks of this trainer.

Please correct me, Is this not the same owner who had bought a one eyed filly and got Lakhs in stake money alone all those gloating that L.I.L. is the best miler yes may be in HYD only. Please see comments of Raju post race his first classic win!

Hi All,

There were so much we talked about lady in lace and her incredible run in the last race against a multi classic winner.
I am feeling sympathy on those who believed it was a real race . I wanted to tell you guys the real lady in lace is not a horse , it's the breeder only . After couple of years if you hear lady in lace (hrs) will retire to Usha stud for breeding don't get surprised. A venue like hyd and a useless field of 5 hrs what a hrs like manifold has to prove ? Her foals will get picked for half a crore or more after couple of years . Now as lady in lace beaten manifold and a classic winner in HYD and if Usha get her for breading some stupid owners will buy her foals for high price. So think now 19L stake money and a grade 3 race or 40L or more for couple of foals as fee is the best business ?
For manifold it was a bad run at an unknown venue and lady in lace is never going to beat her in her life time again in any good venue if there are other competitor also in a race . If you want to know give some more light to your thoughts remember Serjent at arms lost in Mysore to a filly :)
I was knowing this is going to happen in HYD , but I didn't gamble it because I like to put my bet on real horses races not anybody's brilliance

What experts are you talking about? Are you new to racing? Do you play bets and make your selections as per what the 'so called' experts say, is it? Wow, only a novice or a first time race goer does that, I have been told you are an experienced campaigner.

The job of a 'so called' expert is to confuse punters and lure them into take wrong decisions. Houses have got sold and destroyed for the ones who have gone on the saying of experts.

Dont you remember what an expert called Y S Srinath had said about Lady in Lace before the Pune Derby? She will not stay, has a very short burst etc. and Pure Zinc is more versatile. What was the outcome? Lady in Lace won by 8 1/2 lengths and Pure Zinc finished nowhere.

So if you want to go ahead and read words by Pesi and David Probert, your call :)

Sure, we dont know how well the Lady is, sure she suffered a setback owing to a Lung infection. Lets wait to see whether she runs the Derby instead of writing her off for now. Manifold won well, Yes, I agree, but who did she beat? The average rating of that field was 57.8 which is the worse rating for an Oaks field in the last 10 years. I am not saying this, the experts are:)

Prevalent Force is the horse to tackle for any contender, however he should be in Mumbai by now, if they are targeting him for the Hyderabad derby this Sunday and then the Indian Derby on 4th Feb, it is a humongous task.

Another broken record on this forum is Raj, he knows the Lady so well that it is his firm belief she cannot win. What reasons are written and over which place? Can you please explain? Or is it that like MadMax, you have taken it upon yourself to put down and degrade a great filly ?

I am not saying Lady in Lace will win or lose, but I kid you not, if she runs and is fit, she will not go down without a fight.

Prevalent Force Lift The Indian Derby

watched the mock race was highly pleased with the performance looking absolutely fit and fine much better than guineas run looks hard to beat in a genuinely run mock race as good as actual race.

There is a quantum leap in the improvement of ROCHESTER. May improve much further. I will go with it.
