In view of the Software Issue and Admn.Indiarace`s posting - on another thread – as given below, it is decided to accept all entries received before two minutes before the first race as valid entries.
The Deadline to post your individual entries in the "THE PTR" Contests has been extended FROM 30 minutes before the commencement of the first Race TO 2 (Two Minutes) Minutes before the commencement of first Race of that venue on all Contest Days till the entire software is upgraded.
For the 4th leg also the deadline will now be just 2 minutes before the first race of the day.

In this context, please understand that there was no need whatsoever, to point out the deadline violation in MM's post, because he had not tipped the winner (MAHATEJI) and hence his entry was deemed to be inconsequential.
So, are you fooling yourself? Or are you yrying to befool HT readers by your inane remarks.

Do you think in your ever scheming mind that rules are always meant to be broken and thereafter, seek desperate measures for a backdoor entry?
Nobody wants to deal with a charlatan!
You are lucky in this instant (thanks to Sagar ji) that you came off with just a minor penalty. In any other contest (real or virtual), your entry would have been DISQUALIFIED with a capital D, for violating the disciplinary norms!

@ Sagar Ji,
This is in continuation to your approvals and observations on the subject concerning the late postings of Contestants and i wish to bring to your kind attention the below points ;
A) There is massive software up-gradation process going on at the @ Admin End.
B) The said Up-Gradation will take some time and time and again and depending on the stages in the up-gradation the site will be delayed and also there will be certain errors which is bound happen as it is extraneous and out of control of the Admin and in the Hands of software guys.
C) A detailed Telecon has apparently happened between Team PTR and Team Admin.
D) A Formal decision , therefore was taken in the "THE PTR" Series to relax the Rules as would convenience one and all connecting the contest. This was announced yesterday by me in the Mumbai Derby PTR Thread. The decision being all entries will be accepted upto 2 minutes before the commencement of the First Race of that venue on all contest Days.
"A Resolution to this effect has been Passed and Moved and taken for adoption into the "THE PTR" Contests"
E) A Joint Statement by @ Admin and the "THE PTR" Management teams has been taken up and announced in the same thread. (For reasons of our understanding and professional committments with our sponsor's , i cannot elaborate much on the issues or Obstacles or difficulties or any delays whilst i can only confirm to you that "THEY ARE DOING THEIR VERY VERY BEST " to complete the software upgrading tasks as fast as possible.
May I therefore , considering the above genuine obstacles and reasons pertinent to the "Nature of Difficulties" at our principal Sponsors end be taken into account before we arrive at any conclusions.
Sir, I Have been interacting with you for the past few years and on issues which are principally "wrong" , I will never forward for consents ....
1) The backdrop of our contests is skewed towards extracting best talent
2) Its NOT A VIRTUAL Contest in-spite of no commercial elements attached to our contests. But the same is weighed by our contestants which directly co-relates to their prestige , pride and the happiness they possess by associating with us and our contests.
3) We, Ourselves have been the best example of sponsoring the Best Sports Practices and ethics and specially one which would not hurt even by accident our respected contestants and members from this contest fraternity and I for one know about your strong discipline which you carry not only in this contest but also in practice in general life.
For Reasons cited in Para's (A) to (E) READ WITH points (1) to (3) above accompanied by the "Resolution" passed on 03-02-2018 , i request you to relax the rules and also implement the same in the fourth leg as well.
In anticipation of a favorable reply and affirmed stand supporting our requests as your approval/s .......

First off … BKD should not be blamed or criticized. He is only saying that as per rules, entries ( choices) posted after 11.59 am which is the deadline, should be invalidated.
However, there have been cases earlier where entries received after the deadline where accepted as a special case, with the proviso that in the future they will not be accepted.
In the present case (the 3rd leg) I find quite a number of entries posted after the deadline, which is surprising. May be, the participants thought two and a half hours gap between the deadline and the first race was too much, and the deadline needed to be revised.
In order to avoid any further confusion, I am inclined to come out with a new rule … which will also be applicable for the 3rd Leg.
1) `` All entries received after the Dead Line ( 11.59 AM), but before 31 minutes prior to the Ist race ( in this case 1.59 PM) will be accepted with a penalty of 25 % of total score obtained by the participant on the day.``
2) `` All entries received after the Dead Line (11.59 AM), but before one minutes prior to the Ist race ( in this case 2.29PM) will be accepted with a penalty of 50 % of total score obtained by the participant on the day.``
Accordingly all participants in the 3rd leg who fall in the first category above including `SFP` should work out their scores and multiply by a factor 0.75, and add it to their scores achieved in the first two legs. And all participants who fall in the second category above ( if any) should work out their scores and multiply by a factor 0.50 and add it to the scores achieved in the earlier legs.

This rule was framed for Cal races which were to start at 1230 pm so the same should also apply to few as per you as some came after wards

In Re SFP's Case ...I request you to condone the delay on the grounds of environment which we always create i.e. Best Attitude for Sportsmanship. The first race is at 2.30 PM and he posted well in advance. This would ensure proper justice to him on the grounds "Principles of Natural Justice".

Only Augustus has been able to tip all the first three horses correctly, but not in the exact order though. Nevertheless, many Congratulations!
However, Stop Fooling Punter tipped absolutely in order, but his entry stands to be disqualified due to posting after the 11.59AM deadline. Bad Luck!
