2.30 Nicely bred debutant #4 RUN FOREST RUN has been well prepared and seems to be a prime contender.
Expect #8 ICONIA to improve here, should be on the speed and with a talented jockey in saddle, may be best suited to take a sit early. Don’t ignore.
3.00 #6 CHECKMATE will improve on a sound first-up performance and can break through in this ordinary set.
#1 RIDGEWOOD STAR has been consistent in this class and would not leave out of chances.
3.30 #5 SMASHER was a comprehensive winner over this course last start. Hard to beat with a repeat effort.
4.15 #3 REDS REVENGE finally broke through for an overdue win last start. Steps in trip and can repeat the dose. Rider repeats.
#7 GOSHAWK hasn't been far away her past two starts and she's bred to get at least this sort of trip. If the blinkers do the trick she's tough to beat. Don’t dismiss.
4.45 #9 DANCE THE DREAM is the one to keep an eye on making debut. Has impressed in mock race and sure to be well supported.
5.30 Lightly raced and still unexposed ZENON from ace trainer Pesi Shroff’s yard first caught the eye hitting strong form line in Bangalore summer derby finishing on well fifth.
Since then he has raced only twice and has won both of his starts at a mile and a quarter. He has shown vast improvement with each victory and has been systematically prepared for this race. He is bred to stay and will certainly relish the derby trip and is my personal strong fancy for the Indian derby 2018.
6.15 #2 GALLIANT KNIGHT has not been far away at recent outings in stronger company, he may appreciate a drop back in distance and is the one to beat with David Allan in saddle.
6.45 #5 LINCOLN led all the way and won with something in hand last start and he only needs that form to win this.

Race1) Maiden Race, Watch Paddock looks and decide. New Bury is looking good on track. Iconia can place in this set.
Race2) Kingston heath should win this race.
Race3) Daughter of the sun matched strides with better horses, need to fight with Grand Accord.
Race4) Four Times failed Favourite Goshawk equipment change might play trick otherwise Arrecife should be the one .
Race5) Maiden Race, Dance the Dream race sponsor horse needs to fight with perpetual Winning.
Race6) Seldom South Indian horses on western India Circuit perform. Aggregated won derby on 3rd run should be respected and Manifold is the best in the lot.
Race7) Gallant Night is the horse to beat.
Race8) Top Two best horses from same stable(Anacapri & Lincoln). Governor General Can place.

Bad draw, on her left and right are speedy duo Julio Cesaro and New Bury, as well as Clark Kent have initial speed may outpace. She is out of Nora may need extra distance. I like to see CLARK KENT to stun this race.

I hate this type of odds, even if it wins, how much we have to pay? Then why dont take risk. I like Grand Accord, Gdansk, Fantasia, and Happy Birthday to take care of Smasher.
5-2 Cormorant (1-1/2)
It is a wide open race. Giving slight preference to Dance the Dream.
6-5 Prevalent Force (12/10)
I have some doubts about this horse's shoeing, which I have reasoned in Godzilla's thread 'ID Winner'. I like Pesi wins this race either with Manifold or Zenon. Former is my anti-post choice.
8-3 Anacapri (2-1/2)
In previous run the owners tried a doosara, can they drive the punters fools every time? Two horses I like in this race is WILD FIRE, HOUSE OF COMMONS and ALLORA in that order.

1) JULIO CESARO- Last run inclined to run outwards. Same jockey on board. Will surely take advantage of run. Tracked with top sprinters.
RUN FOREST RUN can upset on the basis of classic pedigree.
2) WILSHIRE- Beat CAPTAIN on level weight. Although captain is not a sprinter, but was prepered well for WILSHIRE. On the basis of that run and same jockey on board, WILSHIRE can win this trophy.
YUTAKA can upset, on the basis 200M less distance although carrying high penalty.
3) SMASHER- Mock race with LADY IN LACE suggests class 4, with this weight, is not an issue. Weight lowered 2.5 kg at handicap stage will surely benefit the horse which already won in this distance.
The improvement of HAPPY BIRTHDAY is very suggestive. Can place on merit.
4) HARMONY OF THE SEA- This horse is due in handicap. Last run from 8th position to 3rd( with sore issue) suggests can easily tackle the 8 furlongs distance.
IN IT TO WIN IN can upset on bottom weight.
5) CORMORANT/ KIPLING/ DANCE THE DREAM/ PERPETTUAL WINNING anyone can win this multi million. RWITC put QUINELLA KA DHAMAKA for this race, indicates clearly that this is the toughest race of the day.
6) PREVALENT FORCE- ( BET OF THE SEASON ) THIS IS THE HORSE WHO PROVES HIMSELF IN EACH DISTANCE (FROM 7 to 12 furlongs) WITH TREMENDOUS VICTORIES. HE IS THE HIGHEST RATED HORSE IN THE FIELD. Small correction. In the 3rd race my preference is no 5 Smasher.The mock race is too good. In the 4th race if no 5 Harmony of the sea is backed down I will go with it.This Kishore M Dhingra batch is very shrewd.Dependable.
