After a detailed study, viewing the videos of several Derby contenders, I am unable to see anything beyond PREVALENT FORCE AND POWER HOUSE RIDER SRINATH. This is final.
Please post your final choice of Indian Derby winner, I mean clearly stating only one horse name of your choice. No ifs and buts. Be firm. Let us see how many will prove right tomorrow.

dear M.M. since I have been home since dec I have paid rs 10,000 for watching it live.Only for MUM not for BNG or Cal

Congratulations to all those who said and played Rochester. Later on we try analyzing who it is possible? It beat Castlebridge by 5-1/4L with timings of 2:01:14 in a 3 horse race. I think that was the best timings in Mumbai this season if I am not wrong.
Why I did not consider because it won in a 3 horse field and distance 2400 for a Phoenix Tower colt??
Anyway congratulations once again and lets see how he will perform in the future.

Money is not every thing I did make some today but sitting at home with no book to be right shows one is on the right track..

Hi all,, surely the most interesting race of year with many contenders to take their chances on the most rewarding trophy. Lady in lace should struggle because pace should be very fast and then covering 10.12 lengths on a distance on which she is already doubtful, should be a difficult task. P. FORCE and manifold should fight it out, if Zenon is not a top class material, final choice - - - - - - - - - - - - - P. Force is the force to recon with....

LADY IN LACE the way it won the Pune Derby, by 8-3/4L toying with the field, will be a one horse race and Zenon is very good for shp/place and the only danger I feel.

Its all going to be MANIFOLD, followed by PF and SANA in any order. ROCHESTER may fight for third, but I feel the jockey factor will keep it fourth.

Seeing all the videos and track works ,the following are my observations.
There is no video of P.FORCE win in Chennai the timing are very poor even if running all by himself.it means the horse has to improve by atleast 10 to 12 lts.
LIL has lung infection hence did not run for along time. Given Mock race and last track out standing.
Manifold won in 2.30 very good time better than P.F[On pro rata basis]
Rochester won 2000 mtrs in 2.01 mins.
Now sadly for this crore plus race lots of data missing.
How are the horses taking their feed. Any change of equipement.since last run.the race book may show but were the horse tracked with this change

cannot play a good bet in this derby race
but i feel manifold in place looks a certainty.... you will get 13/10 - 14/10 in place
prevalent force and lady in lace were fighting and struggling in hyd in heavy rains ..... seeing that race i think lady in ;lace will beat prevalent force as PF has not won against good company... this i may be proved wrong but not on manifold in place

I wish to ask a very important question to the racing fraternity. Before the Madras Derby, Lady In Lace was the obvious choice of race lovers for the Indian Derby. Post Madras Derby. say after the Pongal day, people started to look at Prevalent Force also as a rival because of his easy victory. It was in the best interest of bookmakers the supporters divided into two groups. However, Vivek Jain like expert owners never lost their hope on LADY IN LACE despite PF's entry. Even our own Major Nagolkar like experts still believe Lady In Lace is the horse to beat. In between all these roars, there came the bad news of Lady In Lace's set back and the bookmakers made it safe to make PF favourite, and LIL is now opened 3-1/2 as per RWITC website (Night Odds).
The way all these happened, I find some sinister signs behind it, I have a serious doubt that the bookmakers and knowledgeable insiders are LAYING THE JODI. LIL had made her base in Western India for quite some time with the intention of making it in the Indian Derby is now available at Lucrative odds because of the well advertised setback news. PF who registered a run away Madras Derby in a less than average field with a less than average time has been elevated to favouritism.

However in the Hyderabad 2000 Guineas he sported BOTH FORE LEGS OAK BONDED (BFOB) and removed the high heels from HIND LEGS (-BHHH).
Surprisingly in Madras Derby trainer removed BFOB and reverted back to his old shoeing pattern BFRP & BHHH.
Darius, do you think Prevalent Force is a magic horse and it suits all types of shoes, equipments and accessories..? If not then, why you changed his equipments in Indian Derby? He is now sporting RB, BFBS & BHHH.. ? What is the need of Rubber Bit and BFBS suddenly? Can you explain why discarded BFRP and BFOB..? I wonder how many many of you heard comments by the two top trainers and Suraj on Sat evening.
PESSI my 2 horses Zenon and manifold are tracking well and will be there but I have to beat P.Force.
Malesh My horse A..TED is a late blooomer has been thrown in a bit early [than why enter him]? we all have to beat P force and L.I.L
Suraj she had a set back hence not raced but her mock race was good and easy.She is tracking well and hopefully will win the derby beating P. FORCE
I have yet to work out,but will have a tinny winny bet only.rs 200 that is all

Atleast we r going to witness the one and only top grade classic race of Indian Derby.The only one will say the best horse of the session.so many classics may have won by the contenders but if he/she fail to lift Indian Derby whatever they achieved earlier were just of reccords.even without winning any classics previously if win this Derby then that one is adorned as top class horse.unfortunately this year's we don't have a clear cut winner like previous years. This year we have atleast four horses which every punter wud agree has chance to win. Prevelant Force,Lady in Lace,Manifold and Aggregated.but still one or two horses r in this field who has capacity to beat all these four.ultimately the Punters this year has fantastic time and thrilling finish can be witnessed.My choice according to reccords Lady In Lace and Aggregated wud fight for honours.Punters forget all your worry Ness,come to Mahalaxmi Race Course well before the first race and enjoy one of the most run races by best of the Stallion tomorrow and Enjoy yourself.Sjd not be Any Hard feelings.

My choice is Lady in Lace for 2 reasons.
1. Its unlikely that foreign owners will win the Derby.
2. Lady in Lace has got the feel of the Mahalaxmi track and is rearing to go plus the hefty investment of the Mistry's need to be justified.
May the best horse wins.
