Thank you to all participants in this contest so far.
Preliminary stage ends after the Bangalore Derby tomorrow.
And Final Stage of this contest will start from 15th Feb. Mumbai Races.
POG Contest Admin, Mr.BKD will announce the CONTESTANTS qualified for the next stage at his earliest. Further, the Rules and Regulations for the FINAL SHOT will be published by him in due course.
Meanwhile,you all are requested kindly POST your TWO SELECTIONS from Bangalore Races No. 3 to 8 on or before 1.45 PM under this thread.
We expect some DHAMAKAS from some unexpected ones !

Just back from the races having spent a lucrative afternoon!
The first of the POG finals will commence from 15th Feb and conclude on 28th Feb'18.(Mumbai)
If everything goes off well...we intend having new versions of POG in March and April'18, as well. (till end of Mumbai season)
Trust you will be the back-up force throughout the tenure of POG Tipster series.

Sorry to mention this but if you running a contest let it be little professional way not like when and wish you change the worksheet by stating that next round will start a fresh one, so this position means nothing or I take that your name is not in top ten, huh don't you think when contestant give their respective choices it is there hard work and the person who is doing all the hard work to keep the worksheet up to date even when he is. It too well, just by your this attitude it seem you don't care the hard work of people part of this,

This is not to undermine your efforts by any means, but as long as there is no change in the list of the 30 final contestants...let the scores stand as it is, prior to the last updates.
In any case, the contestants will all have to re-start their second innings from zero.
Thanks anyway for bringing it to my notice.
You also haven't responded as to whether you would be in a position to carry out a similar logistics exercise, at the end of this final round. Just in case you can. No pressure at all. Regds.

Frankly, I have too many irons in the fire right now. As it is, I will have to handle all the stats manually, since I'm not too adept at Excel. Now, to keep attendance records of each of the 30 participants, would be a bit too steep and will find it really tough to handle the load on a daily basis, without any outside assistance.
However, we will keep the ROI chapter in mind once MM is bck...perhaps in our next version of the contest. OK? Cheers!

Tnx for da update on my leaderboard ! @madmax and @bkd admin tnx for giving thoughts on my request my oly point is people can follow da winner of dis this contest blindly , like how people following @madmax when i hit da HT he is an A's tippster still he maintains dat some how ! For a day 1000 plus money is a plus , no 1 liked 2 go zig zag at an end of a month we will on loss ! Waste of our money and time for sure, i hit da race on 2016 i played tanilla 300rs 1 ticket on my very 1st day like dumb ! My biggest won in a week i made 1.5L later i lost dat in a span of 3months , den i learned its just a waste of time and money , my dialy investment 1000 just ivl roll my horses sit back and enjoy ! I like 2 go plus 2 home if we calculate da investent and profit on end of a month/week i am just a small invester and i am happy wid it , so i am excpeting some 1 can follow blindly da contest winner, so make sure contest winner doesnt came by luck he did select horse with no fluke ! He have da knowledge of racing and mainly pateince 2 earn money, @all contestents give your toughts hope every 1 like dis

At the outset, allow me to thank MM from the bottom of my heart, for his earnest efforts in giving the final shape to the list of the 30 hopefuls.
MM, we will all miss you in the latter part of this contest, as a contestant and an administrator, as well.
Nevertheless, we wish you the very best for a successful surgery and anxiously look forward to hear from you about its outcome and further by what date can we expect you back, in regular mode?
I have also been mulling over Almost Famous's request for additional columns highlighting the number of winners tipped by the leading contestants and the strike rate thereof. In this context, I could certainly add a column or two to the leaderboard...but the moot point is how should the rankings be influenced;
whether by Dividends earned or by the strike rate?
For one thing, the strike rate ratio could be somewhat misleading particularly, if the contestant's participation is irregular or a minimal.
Just for academic interest....is it worth the extra efforts?
Any ideas...anyone....in this regard?

Subsequently, keeping in view the zeal of the participants, we did enhance the initial quota of 25 to 30 contestants, instead.
However, we regret that we are not in a position to extend this any further, mainly due to administrative reasons.

1-Please update score of ALMOST FAMOUS. You may give him the credit for having tipped KANGRA by NAME.
In fact, I have already clarified earlier (albeit indirectly) that should there be any discrepancies in regard to the Race No/Horse No. we will consider the name of the horse as the deciding factor....irrespective of the wrong numbers that may have been inadvertently posted.
All contestants ....to note this...however, please try and avoid discrepancies as far as possible, in your postings.
2-Since Mr SVK Raju had expressed his unwillingness to continue with POG/PTR, we could consider including Rank 32..CHANCEPEDANCE only, in the final list of 30.
However, if Mr SVK Raju would like to continue into the final round, disregarding his earlier decision...he is hereby requested to post his confirmation acceptance or otherwise not later than tomorrow (13th Feb by 9pm)
If there is no response from him, we will therefore presume that he is not interested and in that case, we will request CHANCEPEDANCE to take his place.
Beyond rank 32, we are not contemplating any further additions at this stage.

Coz i always wanted in a fighting line , some of dem may follow on da main stream tipsters i feels dis s contestant wich creates best tipsters ! R create a fans atlast every 1 earns money dats y ! I am saying dats it, please do some changes for top 10 how dey really punts and how dey use money ,some of dem follows if still he leads da field , maybe i came here as my luck ,bcz of dis contest i changed my mumbai selection on 3 feb my 1st 1 was cambridge i changed da horses coz i feel need a luck to be n top changed my horses so cambridge won 26000 but i loss dat points coz i am tryin my luck! So just change da rules for top 10 r top 5 how dey utilise der money and still says top of da game ! As per yur tips knowledge dey can use yur how to play in horse racing ? Using money how to keep shut wen dey smell danger cards , save money give your knowledge on dat lso please !

Kindly note, in your shortlist, Mr SVK has already left in protest, hence I dont think he will come back and participate. I think his place may be given to KRISH who is a regular and next in rank (32).
Second suggestion is Mr Srini 33 (Rank 33) and Mr DSJ (35) participated in contest only for few days, especially the former only one or two days, hence (if possible) consider them. Eswaran (34) already in Horse Talk but vanished from POG, hence such contestants should not be allowed.

If you are talking about last race of Bang yesterday, Mad Max selected 8 Glittering Gold, which withdrawn before the starters orders. So his selection is replaced with the tote favourite horse 3, that eventually won hence he has been credited with 18 x 10000 = 18000 points.
