2-3 MARCOUS - A recent winner over a mile and can repeat with the same team combination and over the same distance.

3-1 HURRAH - By Kyllachy, was a decent performer in Bangalore. Recently was 5th in a no whip race. Decent EW chance.

4-12 STATELY EMPRESS - By Excellent Art, going in a higher class with a bottom weight. Recent 2nd over 1200m, has the guidance of VR. DAYS BEST!

5-3 DEL SANTO - Is a recent winner over 6 furlong, Had beaten KOK in ooty over 7 furlongs. Has the ability and class. Keep an eye on the bottom weight horses, Academus and Spirit and Truth.

6-3 HONEST PLEASURE - By Ikhtyar, Ran well to finish a close 3rd over a mile in a no whip race. Has a decent eachway chance.

(3) Marcous can defy penalty for another win, but I feel the maiden (4) Peyto can clear the maidens today

(12) Stately empress, on promotion with ideal jockey, can upset stable mate (2) Secret Harmony, also note (8) Saltoro Ridge with positive switch in shoes and saddle, may try to upset

Being Gold cup and 4 entries from same trainer might give edge to (5) Simply Clever an upset chance over others, (1) Knight of Ke was an impressive winner, but may have to defy the penalty
