Dear LVR sir,
I am pasting what I read under the INCIDENTS column...
Explanation of jockey Kuldeep Singh (PROSPERO) that his instructions were to go to front or sit close with front runner and do his best in the straight, but due to fast initial pace he was forced to use the filly in order to follow the given instructions in the initial stages of the race, resulting in the filly tired and shortened her strides and dropped back in the final 300 metres inspite of his best efforts. Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy while confirming added that the filly is running for the 1st time in a mile race as compared to previous runs and opined that she did not relish the extra 200 metres to travel and in future will be running only in sprint races, was noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly sustained injury over left hind. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.
While you and Mr Reddy are two different people with different set of ideas regarding training horses, it cannot be ignored that he had categorically stated the horse is not a miler.....so why the mile trip again? why the bluff to the stewards?
Regards
