Yes it was indeed one of my rarest bad day at Mumbai races and I accept it. I always try to give my best but sometimes you end up doing mistakes by selecting wrong ones and I think today i did few mistakes. Anyways there is always tomorrow. Cheers !!

Some promising horses engaged here but going with #4 MERLIN [3.00] to go one better after his solid effort in mock race. This half bred to good type Colombiana will be hard to beat.
#4 GOVERNOR GENERAL [3.30] showed good improvement to finish 2nd this track last start. He looks suited by the step up in distance and is the one to beat. Appeals on weight.
Highly regarded and sparingly races #1 BOTTEGA LOUIE [4.00] came up short in classic events but looks progressive in handicaps. Her gallant effort in her last handicap event where she went down to Cambridge in stewards room was notable. She looks to have a class edge on her opposition and will be tough to beat despite conceding weights.
#3 JULIO CESARO [4.30] has speed and with blinkers on should give a sight from the good gate and gets his chance to break through after finishing on board in his past two starts. This doesn't look a strong race.
#3 KHARTOUM [5.00] finished his race off nicely when runner-up at mile trip resuming last start. Fitter second-up and still plenty of scope for improvement stepping up to the mile and a quarter.
#4 ARTUS had the run of the race to win stylishly last start at 1800m. Second horse ( Finest Moment) has won demolishing his opposition since so on that form line he can give this a shake.
Bangalore challenger #2 ESCALA [5.30]
stays strongly and comes to this with winning form. Go well again with Suraj flown in for only mount.
#9 BIG SUR ran a good race in much stronger grade (Indian Derby) last start. If he can hold his spot in the first half of the field he can upset. Has age and weight in favour.
#5 CHECKMATE [6.00] comes off outstanding wins at his last two starts here. Hard to go past.

H NO-1-LA MAGNIFIQUE-Top weighted demoted 4year old speedy filly,winner over 1400mts in last MUM season in 3year old maiden race,very poor show in BANG & MUM in class three,now running over extended trip with heavy penalty.
H NO-2-HAPPY BIRTHDAY-6year old gelding,class five winner over 1800 & 1600mts,very poor show in class four,now running with very tough company.
H NO-3-KHARTOUM-Unlucky 4year old gelding,on his both start he finish 2nd now carry 2kg extra,not easy for win.
H NO-4-ARTUS-Notable winner in last run in class five over 1800mts but now promoted & running over extended trip,i think she need this run.
H NO-6-KOMANDANT & H NO-7-OLLYBOY-Out of form 7 & 6 year old horse.

Ignore last run,in r no-102 good 2nd to too good NEW ENGLAND over same dist,working good on track with same jockey.

Run advantage with better company in 1G & OK,winner over 1400mts in same class with 53kg now only 1.5kg up,fluent track work.

You are in the habit of stalking my posting and raising questions, which I like.
Look first two runs of HE it was placed 11th and 10th. Subsequently it ran in 20-46 class and ran close second i.e. 3/4th length behind the winner with low handicap. The odds were 12/1. Perhaps owners money was not in the horse I thought.
Subsequently in a 1400 metre Race it was placed 6th with the same jockey astride, which indicated the horse is not upto the mark. Neither me nor Trevor is reponsible for the horses poor show.
You are in the habit of raising questions and fall under DOUBTING THOMAS category to me. Instead I would like you to come up with useful articles.

Honourable Eyes has not lived upto expectations. Probably it may win in lowest class i.e. Class B with lowest handicap. It has no Multidimension qualities. The owner is probably cheated or taking us for a ride. It should have broken the shackles by now. The day it breaks the shackles, it will make the punters to wear them.
