Todays Mumbais races and sele tions of our usual great regulars
It was really sad to note the selection of our regular punters where all the days best never came on board ex Lord commander, angels touch, adeline, harrier.....
Were the races really fixed ?

IF A HORSE HAS PUT ON WEIGHT BY 1 OR 2 % but is tracking well , or is growing , ( 2 , 3 , yr olds ) ignore the increase, the body weight comes into play when he horse loses a lot, specially older horses and fillies, it will show in the paddock
Although there is no strict rule on this , horse weights are to be seen in tandem with workouts, paddock fitness, and performance weights ( last few good run weights). As everything else in this field , each element helps in analysing.
HOWEVER REMEMBER A HORSE CAN WIN OR LOSE FOR ANY ONE REASON, luck of the race it is called. Aymn lost the last 2 races today by a HD and Shd, BAD LUCK
IMHO, if your choice comes in within a length or so of the winner , your analysis is fine. the result may not be in your favor but your logic stands ground and is good .

BTW, these are my thoughts on this matter others could have differing views.

Mumbai Thursday Race Selections
Race1)Analysis on Selfie Star gives 3 Challenges i.e., Distance not a winner, Class is not a winner and sparingly raced.
Race2) Class 5 Race ::Sir Song, Shevchenko and Aloha should be at busy end.s
Race3) Another Class 5 Race:: Kotor with Ace Jockey should do the trick.
Race4) Star of Thea is in rousing form. Can try from the word go.. However Forest Fairy should give tough fight.
Race5) Speedy race :: If Makino Stalks Adeline then it should get race easily.
Race6) Arc Shine should not find it difficult in this set. Watchout ffor Collegium.
Race7) Eltycoon is the horse to beat. Lord Commander can place.

1 St race is a death trap- so skipping.
2nd and 3rd are junk races with 12 horses. - Avoid.
4) Race- Forget forest fairy. It's nomination as days best by India race is hard to digest.
The race is between 4)Star of Thea and 5) Glyndebourne .Advantage to SOT bcz of recent victories with 1.50 kg less to carry.Same jockey to ride. On a hatrick.
Will go with SOT.
5 th race:
Straight fight between Adeline( the trainer has not yet opened account.)
and Alpine Express
Alpine Express should prevail in a nail biting finish.
6 th race : Another junk race.Harrier can win here.
7 th race. :It will be foolish to look beyond LORD COMMANDER.
Days best. Practically impossible to loose if ridden with intentions to win.

Dear experts in this forum
Kindly give your openion about how impart ant is body weight of a horse matters for win.
I was told by one of my friend that compared to its previous run, if a horse has put on more weight, say more than 5-6kgs, it is not on job for win.
So yesterday on 14th March in Bangalore races in 4th race H.NO 7 was my choice for win, after looking at its body weight which was increased by 8 kgs, I thought it is not on job and neglected it, but it won

I have been hiding so far. I have a tendency of eating up ground in sprint Races. The present mile trip should suit me with CS Jodha on me. If I achieve success, it will be owner/trainers double, if Multiglory Wins in first Race.
3rd Race
Angels Harmony
Jockey Trevor may not be interested to bag the B class odds. In that case, I dont mind winning the Race and grabbing the money, as I have not seen such money in my career so far.

In the reverse handicap I should not lose. But I am scared of Forest Fairy.
