Much older then me in Age & in the Game but Madhukar never made me feel that. Was more then helpful specially when I was over anytime at BTC calling Races. Always complimented me and maybe one of the very who did and usually do to Commentators. But as a Racecaller the job is a thankless one and many out there take it to be a piece of cake . But unfortunately it's not and unfortunately we have lost a Good Caller and a Good Soul. May his family get the maximum strength at this time of Grief. Till we meet again my friend. May your soul RIP.

Very sad news.
I didn't get a chance to meet him, yet what I have heard about the him, makes me only have deep admiration for him.
He had a very distinct style and I, like many others would get excited as horses entered the straight, cause he would really start adding the little extra.
Having first hand experience of the difficulties of this job, I can imagine how hard it would have been for him, yet he did it with his own flair travel all over with passion.
This is still a thankless job and to have had the kind of dedication he did, is something we can all learn from no matter what we do, passion and dedication is key.
I pray for his family and friends in an hour unimaginable sadness.
Mr Madhukar you shall be missed forever.

Although I only knew Madhukar a relatively short time compared to many of his racing friends, i have fond memories sitting with him and Manohar in the broadcasters box at Bangalore when I was the Chairman of Stipendiary Stewards. He liked to use my binoculars as he told me you can see the riders changing their minds. Such great company will be greatly missed by all who knew Madhukar, a man with flair and personality. Until We will meet again my friend at the racecourse in the sky. My sincere condolences to his family and his many close friends in racing.

Madhukar was a dear freind to me, had a huge freinds circle in racing industry. always used to give and share racing updates, very good writer who had a good command over the language and very good commentator. Races wont be the same as everyone will miss your voice. May you rest in peace

I am grieving.
Madhukar was a good writer. His knowledge of racing was second to none. I enjoyed reading his reports. His race-calling skills made even a mundane race acquire new dimensions.
Above all, he was a friend who cared about people. He always had a kind word or two whenever I saw him.
I will miss him.
May God give his family enough strength at this difficult time.
