First thing first. I am not defending Esoterical. I am stating matter of fact.
First day Esoterical gave Rosegold and Bakhthavar. Then he changed his mind and stood by Bakthavar and dismissed Rosegold. If he had backed both horses, he would have returned home with no-loss-no-gain or a marginal loss.
Fate played the roll. He backed only Bakthavar.
Yesterday, Counsellor gave him some amount. Mumbai odds show 24/1O. Suppose at Mysore he got 22/1O odds that would reimburse his previous day's loss. He can even afford to lose on 2 more horses another 25k.
1. I do not agree with his 25k bets. I feel it shall be better if he reduce that betting amount. Anyway, it is his money. So, my agreement or disagreement has no value.
2. Mr Azim, criticisms are welcome. But, they should be based on facts. If esoterical says he has recovered loss on Bakthavar, that could be challenged only on facts at our disposal. I find no fault lines in his yesterday's statement.
3. This 25k bet, 1Ok bet, 15k bets are highly expensive bets. People had better exchange during the two week end days at Bombay. There were as much as 8 or 9 favorites or well backed horses that won. Allora a medium gamble and Priceless girl are the only outsiders. For that matter Allora had some takers.
But, it is always better to bet within our means. If 25k is well within that limit, then I say it is better to bet far less than that amount. More than that it is individual's decision.

Hi All,
1-1 MASTER OF STUDIES - Have done studies well and prepared for this exam after failing last time over the same distance. By Masterofthehorse and Zervan riding, needs one more chance.
2-5 CHECKMATE - By Canford Cliffs, Badly hampered last time coming out of the gates, Always comes from behind with a great turn of foot in the last 200-400m. i am sure extra 200m will suit and it will be a checkmate for all.
3-8 COUNSELLOR - Ran a mile race 1-1/2L behind Webreaktherules, with an advantage of 5.5Kg it will be a quick double for Sandesh. Even though I like Daughterofthesun I am against the jockey.
4-1 GNOSTIC EYES - Running a class down and Sandesh taking a ride on top weight. I like the combination of Rehanullahkhan/Sandesh when Sandesh started riding for this trainer. Treble for Sandesh.
5-2 AEOLUS MAXIMUS - I fancied this horse last time, same jockey is retained to ride. I dont see much opposition in the category race. This is my DAYS BEST!
6-2 JUGGERNAUT - Timings over 5 furlongs is much better than others and looks easy.
7-4 RIDGEWOOD STAR - Ran well over 6 furlongs, can go better over 5 furlongs to beat El Tycoon.
