With acceptances out and Saalazar missing from the line up it appears a two horse race in the Prestigious Maharajah Cup to be run on Sunday. Teremity seems to be out of touch and even though she beat Lady in lace comfortably in the Invitation I expect LiL to turn the tables this time. The other horse in contention is Dancing Dragon who is in sublime form this season.
So it’s a toss up between the two... still I will be going with Lil as DD hasn’t gone beyond 1400 mts

First of All,
How many of you noticed the Sweep stake Entries Section in BTC Site.
Can you find the Dancing Dragon Entry in the Maharaja Gold Cup ?
it was entered in BTC Anniversary Cup & Karnataka Mile Championship Cup Entries ?
Do we need to Consider it as Final Entrant in Maharaja Cup ? if So those Details were Not Mentioned ?

Suraj was a big flop today, he has lost his charm as a ridder , very disappointed... I still vouch LIL much better than DD, DD won beacuse LIL was not supposed too..... With the weight LIL carried it would have won by 2 L ....

Congrats to the team of dancing dragon a great effort by treovor.
Congrats to those who chose dancing dragon over temerity and lady in lace.
Dancing dragon proved his class and may be currently he is the best colt in India so far.i failed to chose dancing dragon for this race becoz of Phoenix tower and less experience.i made a mistake here and iI apologize.
Trevor applied a same strategy of Punjabi girl from last to 1st.took the jump set himself in 2nd last position not trying to improve his position till the last bend he was last and when he ask for effort dancing dragon with 2-3 giant strides find himself next to lady in lace and was beat lady and lace fair and square.

Guys please restrict ur bet between lady and temerity its just my suggestion.
Lady in lace : a prime contender for me for this race.2200mtr is touch reachable for the lady. Although invitation cup run in Kolkata was the bad run but this time she is runing 2200mtr.and in Indian derby besides of all her setback of health issues she perform well in long straight of the Mumbai course.enteringvinto the long straight of Mumbai she was just cruising but in Last 100mtr she given up. So this time 2200"mtr iIfeel within her range and she will emerge as a winner as per my opinion.
Temerity : 3rd place in Indian derby. One time winner of the invitation cup that too in banglore. One time runner up of the invitation cup always a top class performer with big match jockey on her to guide her strides. Last time saddle slip so finish out of board but this time she can come back with strong statement. Experience and rider on her side. She can prove her metal again this time.
Dancing dragon:impressive colt by Phoenix tower. Toyed with the field in 1400mtr and 1600mtr strong performer with gutsy effort. Icing on the cake is Trevor on top of it. Besides all of his performance and good rider I don't feel dancing dragon will finish on board in this superior field. He needs this run to prove his class. To go up in a distance with this mighty s
Field is too tough for this colt and its by Phoenix tower so distance is always doubtfull.all the best for dancing dragon fans club.
Supreme General : after Lady and temerity the God abroad colt Supreme General is the colt to watch in this bunch. Have class and distance is not the problem for him have run behind temerity in invitation cup last year. With Imran up he may place. My 3rd choice.
Other runners is in also run category may the best horse win.

The race is for the Shapoorji for the asking with 2 top horses are likely to win. I fail to see why run these in the same race
Temerity is way down the hill and I will wait for it to come on board first.
SO BE ready for race time odds to decide and do not make up your mind now only.
My personal choice D dragon an each way bet is on the up graph .The handicapper has surly seen some thing in it to give such high ratings.If LIL is backed down will only play place on D.D than
Some here are saying will not go the distance, same comments on lady in lace one year back. Have faith in the trainer

TEMERITY has only ran twice in Bangalore. First time when she ran at this track , it was in the invitation cup in 2017 which she won and the other is her latest start when her saddle slipped so how can you you say that she has always failed in Bangalore please explain.

Hi Guys,
Dancing Dragon has not travelled over a mile and moreover not won in any graded company. Lot to perform to reach to the standard of Temerity or Lady in Lace.
LADY IN LACE seems to be in pink condition the way it won the mile race recently beating a quality field who were good milers. The turn of foot was amazing. I think she is in her prime time of racing and has matured well as a 4yr old. DONT look beyond LADY IN LACE.
KAMBAKU looks well as a 4yr old the way it won a mile and a quarter race recently.

I read the comments of Rahul about the above mentioned race.Your review about Temerity is not based on facts and shows you are not aware of number of facts.. You can't judge the horse by its last run and arrive at a conclusion in so hurry that she is out of touch or contention without knowing the facts fully. There are so many incidents happens in racing willfully or unintentionally and you have to pay more attention. For example after the last run the trainer of Temerity(P.Shroff) fined for faculty saddling and the jockey revealed before the stewards that the saddle was shifting forward from 1200 mts onwards till the final bend and he had considerable difficulty in holding the mount. In other simple words he could not ride the horse as per potential and ridden half heartedly and very feeble due to the above stated reasons. This is a fact not an excuse. You can have your own doubt the incident that is a different thing. Come to the second point Temerity is conquerer of Lady in lace in the Indian Turf Invitation race in Kolkata in the first week of March,2018 by six and three quarters of lengths. She is not out of touch or out of contention my dear friend. Next filly Lady in lace win over mile in last run and subsequently penalized 17 points for the win. She ran in good going and timing were slightly on faster side due to fast pace and good going. Third most improved horse in the field and contention is Dancing dragon, every time defying the handicapper making fool. He also penalized 19 points for the last win over mile. He ran in soft going and timing were on slower side because of the soft going and penetrometer reading of 5.2 . This horse settles well in mid or rear bunch and immediately on entering straight going to the front with maturity and great authority and widening the gap of victory with ease and in reserve. He won last four races in a row and commandingly. The only question can be raised about this horse is about his staying capacity which will be tested and proven this time in Maharaj's cup on Sunday. Forget about rest of the runners they are not in contention, they are not well placed on rating, handicap and distance and company wise. If possible I try to post my final analysis later on but before the race but again if possible..

‘ Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of TEMERITY reported that his saddle had shifted forward passing the 1200 Meters till about rounding the final bend and the rider had considerable difficulty in holding his mount back. Hence, Trainer Mr.P. Shroff was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling.’
