Progeny out of Win Legend/Excellent Art performances in India are not viewed that great by International Racing Centres. As per them, its nothing short of a mediocre performance.

Guys in this forum are overwhelmed at the look of Sir Cecil [Win Legend], its performance. They praise Sir Cecil is a great horse that they ever seen. They also doubt whether Excellent Art progeny can stay a mile and half trip.

For the information of experts here that both Win Legend and Excellent Art progeny can stay, in Indian conditions.

In India, if you take a mile and half derby distance, the pace is very slow till a mile marker. The real Race starts at 1600 mtr marker and the pace picks up gradually. The acceleration starts after crossing the bend always. In international Racing Centres, the pace picks up right from the word "Go". Thats the difference

In the past, experts here were of the opinion that Phoenix Tiger progeny can travel only upto a mile. They all proved wrong. Rochester failed in a mile Race against Castlebridge and subsequently defeated the same Castlebridge in a 2000 mtr Race with handsome margin. Punters left out this horse including me in the Derby distance with the same doubt, and Rochester won Indian Derby hacking the field. The same Rochester would have failed, if lived and participated at other international centres.

What happened to the grey Hall of Famer, which won both Calcutta and Indian Derby. This is out of Win Legend. No news about this horse afrterwards.

In view of the above facts, kindly do not keep arguing that Sir Cecil is great and Star Superior is unfit to travel more than a mile.

I dont think you read HT posts regularly. For Colts trial, being a mile Race, I said Star Superior looks good. Star Superior lived upto expectations, and lost the Race unfortunately by a head.

For Derby, I said Sir Cecil will win by 3 lengths from Star Superior and that did happen. Therefore I dont think you can raise the non-existent issue.

Concentrate in future Races.

he is very good and he cant leave hyderabad he is product of hyderabad jockey training school of HRC,HE WILL BE UNDER CONTRACT TO RIDE AT HYDERABAD but he is free to ride whenever there is no racing at HRC or with prior permission

Rightly said.he is a champion in making.need some support from big owners and big centres.hopefully he will get soon.he is having good skill good temperament and good body for jockey.in Hyderabad he has beaten champions riders many times no match for him Hyderabad and in other centres whenever he get some good horse to ride he strikes.
