Experts Failed Miserably

By S C Sharma | 16-Jul-2018
First day races of Hyderabad monsoon season witnessed a rare phenomena on Monday 16 th July,2018. Only one tote favorite obliged in a eight race card framed for the day, that too in that particular race (eighth race) minimum odds offered were four times and above. Media tips and expert picks failed miserably. All first choices of Bol and except second race all first choices of www.indiarace.com failed. In horse talk post out of 27 only 8 tipsters namely Syed g, BKD, T.R.S., Dominic,Tiger,Vinodrocks,Anushree and Jaikumar successful in giving one first choice winner and Ashok Mysore and S C Sharma successful in giving two first choice winners. Full marks, kudos and compliment to Longer odds and budget 2018 who gave only one race selection and they both were cent percent successful in recommending their only choice. Huge jackpot collection of Rs.806757 remained unsolved and 100 percent amount carried over. Top jockeys including local champion and hero Akshay kumar(nil out of seven rides),Arshad Aalam(nil out of six rides), Y.S.Srinath( nil out of three rides ) and foreign jockey R J Hannam (nil out of three rides) not even opened account and able to a win a race. On the other hand they all seen struggling hard to remain in contention. Punters burnt their fingers and bookies went home with joy and bags full of money. The upset trend may continue for some more meetings till most of the runners/horses have a run because they were off the track for four months and over. Till that time horses having a run at recent Bangaluru season may hold upper hand. It is recommended as a horse lover and well wisher to be very cautious and careful about selecting the horses for playing bets for Hyderabad races. Stay safe and focused. God bless you.

On the other site, Trans is being taken to task for wasting space. And you both are doing the same here. When every body knows that you are brothers from the same mother (Board), then why waste space. Say, whatever you want to say, with one id only.

And was just going thru the archives, i didnt find any contribution from you too, let alone tipping.

But you are welcomed here, on the other site your tips are going thru a bad phase and you must be losing lots. Or may be your restaurant would have been a stake.

Try tipping here, may be you will also start winning.

Wise men don't argue with fools - 'a proverb'...
what Chanakya said is very right. One should not waste time replying to manish as he has nothing to contribute about racing.
As they say ...empty vessels make more noise.

Mr SCS

I just said that they are not experts. In fact nobody is expert in racing. And a punter feels a sense of pride in calling himself as a handicapper and a tipster. This is the only consolation he gets in racing after donation to tote/bookie

A punter is a punter who has an intention of making some quick money. i maintain my statement that the contributors on this site are not experts, they are mere punters or retired from racing from one reason or another. (everybody knows the main reason, why punters retire from racing). The only person who I count as an expert (If i have to say one name), then its indiarace.com tipsters. though they also fail occasionally.

And i am sure, you know the phrase, "Wise person dont argue with fools" Thats why you have not commented on Chanakya's comment.

Krisna,

Has the other site imporsened your H.

Those who speak here are not experts. In racing there are no experts.

People with some handicapping knowledge do give their tips. 66% of their tips is certain to fail. What I mean is if you give 1OO tips in a month, you can consider yourself an expert if 33 of them win. People without handicapping knowledge also give their tips. They are not experts. And their strike rate is less than 1/3rd.

@ S C Sharma

Yes. I know HYD punters are head and shoulder above the punters in other cities as far as solving Jackpot is the criteria. That was in my mind when I asked you to recall from memory when was the previous jackpot is carried over.

You should not fault the tipsters here for failing to give winners. I do not know what is their knowledge about racing. One thing I am sure that whatever they know is several times more than what I know. And you can praise them for their right tips. For their failed tips you should not criticise them.

Mr.sharma every Thind went as per the merit. One expert gave wonderful selections which I don’t want to tell.

Off the late all tote are opened 1 hour before start and not at 9 am.

Just felt like adding I some 40 years of racing experience while studying a card. My way of looking at a winner.
1. Most horses nowadays run with AL Shoes. Even I,f you like an horse with good tracks but running with S has less chance. Play other options and in BNG THP is good option.
2. Horses are not prepared in actual tracks for gambles but at swimming pools.
3. Dicky legged horses love soft going try to identify them.
4. While studying tracks look at rider for the race given a track.
5. A horse which gets a weaker or inexperienced rider from earlier one can be discounted.
6. Never play 3 years in class races as some older seasoned horse will get it.
7. Don't look at jockeys during your race evaluation.
8. Do not look at odds. If an horse meets pedigree for distance and somewhere thereabouts ini it's previous run then play if u fancy.
9. Do not follow on rumours unless u know the authentic source.
10. Always play your own picks with limited amounts and do not go bust in life.

SC probably you used the wrong phrase. No one is an expert on racing. Any way the way racing was run in a hyd I doubt even if some of the trainers there could have forecast any of the winners,

Regarding Manish just ignore him. His sole purpose is to create unpleasantness.

Just rise above him and as the Gmail says Do not reply

Mr. Manish: A person who gives advices to others by no means he is perfect or superior.Yes I am still learning a lot. Learning and updating or enhancing the knowledge is not a bad thing. Nobody is perfect and claim himself to be perfect. May be your age is less than my son's age. I think before you born or started racing, I am in racing line and I respect everyone's view and comments and nor advice or insult them like you. You may differ on my comments or reviews but don't teach lessons to others. Start respecting others and be selective and respectful in your communication whether you agree or disagree.

They all are punters who express their opinion says Lord manish..
But then what about the experts & their tips aren't that their opinions?

Mr. Raghavan: I don't know when 100 percent jackpot carried over at Hyd. before this. But one thing I can say with confidence that if JP is carried over at Hyd. it can't be solved at other centres too and if JP is carried over at other centres there is every possibility that it is solved in Hyd. Moreover JP collections and other tote collections at Hyd. are best in India. The reason is minimum five rupee ticket for all tote pools and secondly Hyd. Is having maximum number of tote betting centres all over Telangana and AP and they start operating from morning 9.00AM onwards on race days including off course betting days.

If you consider the tips given on this site are by experts, then you have a lot to learn in racing.

They all are punters who express their opinion. They are no experts...

SCS

There are no experts in Racing field when it comes to Horse Racing. One should allow a months time at the begining of the season for things to settle down.

Generally Summer/Monsoon season are meant for Bookies. If the punters want to burn their hands, they can attend Races. Like Cricket, if there is Racing everyday, the charm is lost.

@ S C Sharma,

Can you please mention from your memory when the jackpot 1OO% was carried over earlier at HYD? Majority of punters walked home care free. Those who in spite of such massive upsets managed to retain a small dumbdee cash for evening snacks and coffee are really blessed ones.

The problem is other centers offer no respite. Today Kolkata and tomorrow Mysore. Both centers are infamous for big upsets.

You say horses require some time to adjust. O K. Let all the punters keep that in mind.

I would like to see the punters boycotting bookies. 1OO%. Let them bet to their heart's content at the tote. At least in dreams.
