I dont go after 40nP horses. Its always dangerous to back at such odds.
One instance here I point out:
Once a bookie quoted 9nP after taxes to Alix and my friend who was carrying a bag of 5 lakhs backed it. This 9nP we could get only after hard bargain with Bookie. I was dead against this bet. However my friend said, one can make 45k in one and half seconds and in no business one would get such sum.
Net result Alix lead upto 400 mtrs in a 3 horse field. At the end, it was the last horse to cross WP. Although I recollect my friend left in a huff, I remembered the bag [whose cost was 5k] and collected from the Bookie much to the amusement of Bookies. I came out like a mad guy !!!
