@SC Sharma sir ur correct sir change in jockey thats what the problem has been created suraj soo riding soo well lil, tutakanum, and dancing dragon why they have given to trevor he cant handle big horses now a days..shappor mistry has to go back to suraj if they want to win in mysuru dushera.

Good write up by S C Sharma and PDS . Yes , we have to approach the reading of the race , in right spirits and with an open mind. 

If one sees the race.Trevor was not even interested in using the whip..

I am sure you are opposing me for opposing sake.

The RWITC Authorities themselves have declared that "Due to Paucity" of runners, they had to cancel the Races on a particular day. What else you need ?

Look at Hyderabad/Mysore/Calcutta, they are having enough runners and unable to accommodate further participants. Even Delhi Races drawing encouraging number of Runners.

You talk about body height is a hindrance relating to the performance of Horses. For your information, all Champion Horses and Winners weigh more than 470 to 510 kgs. Body weight has no relavance with regard to performance of horses.. You are under wrong notion.

Some of the seasoned punters in Chennai say, in those days, I mean several years back, no one looked at the body weight of the horses . Now only people break their heads on body weight and play light weight horses and get doomed. Hence please do not talk about body weight of horses and make it an excuse for the defeat of the horses. The more the body weight, the better, performance can be expected from the horses. Please dont misguide anyone on  body weight.

I have not seen RWITC came to such hopeless level, as is seen now. I am talking out of my 55 years experience.

Someone here means LIL is an expensive failure? Right or wrong?

Totally agree that the situation @ Rwitc is absolutely Pathetic. Its scary to imagine what is in store for the Mumbai season.

Not convinced that the race was alotted to WMS . The race was strictly between the two horse and WMS was better placed on the scales for this race. Lady is just not the same horse she was a year ago and best suited only upto a mile.

SCS, thanks for a very balanced, understanding and logical write up. My only reason to object to my friends write up was that it was completely off the mark and was misleading for the general Race goer. The writer did not realise that such terms races have very early entries and if some connections decides to run their horse at a later stage they have to pay Final Entry Fee and it is also written at the end of that race. Friends, we all must understand that like any other living being, horses also have some times very bright form and some times dull form also. To this affect SCS has brought out some good points in connection with this race. I dont think we should cook up stories and call these cooked up races.

See that run and the horses it ran behind in Mysore 2 weeks back. 

I don't know weather the race was fixed or run true potential but agree with godzy in case of objection that to divert punters attention from lil defeat.

Write up on " Pathetic Pune " : It seems the writer is not happy with the state of affairs prevailing at Pune, so he blamed RWITC and leveled false and baseless charges against the club that they invited Lady in lace and Watchmyscript from Hyd. and   Bangaluru  and the club was under severe compulsion to award the race to later. The fact of the matter is this is not a invitational race or race nominated by clubs. Owners and trainers entered their horses much before and allowed their wards to participate. It is the discretionary power of owner to accept or not to accept his wards for a particular race if elegibility criteria is fulfilled. I would have appreciated the writer if he would have chosen to write about the out come of the race or running of the race or condition of participating horses but he preferred to simply drag the club and highlighted that club invited the runners and managed the result as per their choice which is totally wrong.

Lady in lace and Watchmyscript ran together at Bangaluru and finished first  and second. Now Watchmyscript was running with a 3kg advantage compared to their last run and many tipsters and media persons fancied Wathchmyscript also and quoted in their choices . Even I fancied  the race between LIL and Ghatala's horse with a edge to LIL. But sebsequently LIL lost its condition and it happens with any horse. Horses maintain and loose the condition in different weather and at different venues. Further change in jockey and distance also contribute in their winning and loosing.

While agreeing points raised by PDS I also want to mention before this run the body weight of LIL gone up and during this run also her body weight was 2kg up but the condition and skin shinning deterioted which might have the reason for her defeat. Her turn of foot and dash was also not as per her previous runs. I think she is in off mode at present and not at her best either due to running different distances or traveling or some thing is wrong with her feeding and exercises. Exact reasons I also don't know but I am analyzing as facts and material available to me and to best of my ability to review and understand. My only request to all writers is focus on real facts and desist from blaming anyone till you have solid proofs or enough reasons to justify your version. Horse talk is very good forum for healthy discussion, let HT track remain on its track of healthy debate and discussion.

 in planning to set things as they want to do they have lost their way and i feel now owner's are moving towards Hyderabad where the prize money is higher then other centers

Truth is really hurting you it seems. Even Hyderabad/Mysore Centres frame 7 Races in a day and approx 10 to 12 horses participate in every Race.

Can you tell me what happened to RWITC which conducts only 6 Races per day that too with a field of 6 to 7 runners in a Race. Guys cannot play Even place bets. The odds on horses lose and comes 2nd [where there is no return for place bets] and the flukes wins.

I wrote about Whatsmyscript as Winner in Bangalore Races. It has not obliged. Now it beats LIL ? Such an amazing improvement in the performance of first Race itself after travelling in conditions that vary vastly from Bangalore ?

I really dont understand what Godzilla has written about the conduct of Fillies ans mare race. To me, it is only indicating how shallow is the understanding about Horse Racing even with senior people like him. This sort of write ups are misleading the younger and new Horse Racing enthused. So I would suggest to weigh before giving judgements. This write up only indicates that even  this prestigious Race was cooked up, then where is the confidence building which is so essential for every Race lover and punter community. I would request some learned friends to come forward to explain this race and the result for the better understanding of the Horse Racing lovers and followers.
