The result would have been different if you had the likes of Suraj, Srinath, Sandesh etc on the 2nd & 3rd place horses.

Prasanna Kumar, Neil Darashah, Hilton Sequeria etc, please realise that these jockeys are good, really good, however are still not upto the classic mark when it comes to delivering the killer punch in a Big race finish! They will of course win you hundreds of handicap races. But is that enough?

The top names on the other hand would extract that extra length or so from your horse which would be the difference between winning and losing a classic.

Suraj, Trevor, Sandesh have that in them. Srinath although is much senior to them can still give them a serious run for their money and has the Big race temperament ! Please think next time you get a good horse and lose your chances to win a classic.
