Madras Season 2018-19

Welcome Madras Races the oldest and the Grandest Club in India.session starts on 19th. Mr.Ramakrishnan,Chairman and senior steward everyone call him affectionetely as RK elaborated about races to reporters. Total stake money announced is 12 Crore.but when Dr.MAM was alive it was 18crore.i don't kniw why stake money is reduced.Hope RK try to upgrade the same during the course of session running.Its also great news to all Owners Trainers all over India that there s no restriction for outstation horses.they can participate in any races which s opening flood gate for many not available in other clubs. I personally Wish Stewards,Owners,Trainers,Jockeys,Handlers,Admin staff,And sponsors,pressMedia a successful 2018-2019 Madras Races and wish you all success.

Guindy race course is one of the oldest and biggest race courses in India with a full Track length of 2400 mts.  The Grand stand is comparable to some of the best in the world. The number of foreign Trainers and jockeys participated in Madras Races in 60s and 70s outnumbered even Mumbai those days. But unfortunately the fecilities were ill maintained due to various reasons.

But Madras races are regaining its old popularity and charm in the last couple of years due to fair racing conducted there. I wish all the very best for the Madras Races for the current season.2018-19.
