I wanted to start this thread.I was little busy and waiting for jockys list. So Iam posting the same under this thread.
The field is small. But catching a winner is difficult to start with unless you study each horse merit.
Out of 7, two horse that can be eliminated at initial stage are Savannah sound (SS) and Justice Angel.
Even though SS surprises when least expected at long odds this time age has caught up with it. At 8 years old one should make way for youngsters.
The rest are all capable of winning. Prevalent force needs no introduction and so are others. All have asserted themselves at one time or the other.
Now the elimination process ,as 5 of them can’t win.
Prevalent force, Covallo veloce Mauritania, London have benefit of run at Mysore and have done well except New England who has come from Pune.
It and Trevor will only enhance the odds of others. Without benefit of run it’s not likely to be such a great threat. So chances are dim.
The rest 4 are capable of winning.
London is a front runner and so also Mauritania.PF comes from back with rattle. Cavallo veloce can turn the table on any day.
PF has backers @124 rating and they just sticks to name rather than merit. Actually the fate of LIL awaits it.
London will be vying for hatric.
PF is at top weight conceding wt to all others.
But it’s much better than Cavello Veloce in terms of performance so far. So CV is eliminated due to gut feeling only.
It’s Mauritania that will be carrying 5 kgs less compared to previous run when it won start to finish in a smart time of 1.21:31.
Much better than London time of 1.23:05 for 1400. And PF time of 1.22:42.Even though previous timings are no yardsticks.
I am eliminating PF bcz of wt and its tendency to come from back which will not work for 1400 m with such speedsters.
With Sandesh to ride Mauritania again and 5 kg less to carry, a start to finish is on the cards with even better timing. Under 1.21:10
